Thanks for this video. I have not travelled on Lady Young Road for years. It is good to see how up-to-date the highways are. I also noticed that the markings are very clear.
I am from Guyana and I have to say I am impressed with your highway, and its better than Guyana, but then Trinidad had a lot of oil money to build those roads, but what surprised me is there is hardly any trucks on the road, and in Guyana there is constant construction and many large trucks.may be one day I will pay the Caribbean islands a visit.
Boy when Guyana start to pump those oil u will understand not all those money goes to proper infastucture its have the world biggest pitch lake and there so many potholes is amazing but such is life development wise T&T up dey
This video was from yesterday. 16 September 2017. I will have a live stream soon since I almost have 3,000 subscribers. Let me know if you have any questions that you want me to address in the live stream. The live stream will probably be tomorrow in the evening.
Balázs Mészáros I want to go and have a look. But I need to apply for a visa. I don't think I have all the paperwork with me that I need. I have been to all other countries in South America and Central America, but I have not been in Venezuela yet. I have only been to the airport there. When I don't need a visa there, or the situation is better there, I will go. But, I would only walk around the streets and my camera with a friend or guide.
Why do you keep talking about where you are going and not about where you are? You could've talked about the traffic, the street vendors. Do you know any history that you could've talked about? The scenery for me brings back wonderful memories but for people who have never been, talk about the scenery and learn something about the place if you are going to do a video to show the world.
Hi, may I use this footage for a film being shot right here in Trinidad? I'll gladly send you a link to the show when it airs here. It'll be streamed internationally. :)
Yes sir accrediting you in the show's opening & closing intros is indeed the plan. We intend to launch this show called "Island Law" regionally & internationally. You can have a look at the production here: facebook.com/IslandLawTVSeries
Omg you used the word boring to much you make everything boring I couldn't continue to watch the video. You haven't been to st Vincent yet but you already talking about it maybe boring geez.
Just remember "Keep-left, keep left, keep left". The former British colonies drive on the left side of the road like the U.K.. Also the United States Virgin Islands drives on the left because they supposedly imported British cars from Barbados in the early days and supposedly that caused Left-Side of the road to be chosen there. But why does former Dutch colony Suriname in South America drive pun de left???
That is a good idea. And a bad idea. If you make UA-cam videos and upload a video with music, you will understand why it is a bad idea. The people that make the music do not want it in people's UA-cam videos without them getting paid. Sometimes they block videos, or most time what happens is any money made from the UA-cam video that I make goes to the music owners. So imagine me spending my time and effort and equipment to make this UA-cam video, and the owner of the Soca music makes money from my video, and I don't make anything. UA-cam will let the UA-cam videos get away with about 30 seconds of a song. So, I have to change the radio, or sometimes I play around with the video editing which is a very big hassle. In my driving video in Suriname I had to edit and upload the same video 5 times to finally get it to clear the UA-cam censorship. And that video file was over 10 GB. So, it is better for me to change the station or keep it on a talk show or something. I know for you the video watcher it is better to listen to to music. It isn't good for the video maker though, and sometimes the video is banned and you would not be able to see it anyways. That's why I can't just let the music play. I try to explain this in each of my driving videos.
caribbeanchild: I have done a lot of travelling and Trinidadians are the only people who seem to cry down their country to foreigners. There are many places in the world that are 10 times worst than Trinidad with horrendous living conditions.
Trini my fav island and the trini indians are such hard working people, they make this country so good, I understand there having some problems with black african culture who seem to think that they should have some of the wealth, others have.........without working hard for it.
12:29 my sentiments exactly... funny how Trinidadians boasting of their oil money and claiming to be the best in the Caribbean, don't seem to have a problem with the lack of infrastructure.
This is my favorite in the world. The music (soca) it sends electricity thru my body. I've loved this place for 32 years.

The ironic thing is traffic probably saves people's lives, driving in Trinidad.
I enjoyed that trip from the airport, but I was patiently waiting to see what the AirBNB looked like.

I would be very interested to know how much on average you spend monthly and/or yearly to travel.
I don't recommend you to walk here with that camera, you could get robbed and/or killed easily
Thank You Neo. But I chose those blue pill.
You've used the word ' boring ' a number of times. Perhaps if you had a female companion with you it wouldn't be so ' boring'.
Same thing I was thinking
Lol why would he need a female companion to make things less boring? It would be even worse.
there are not a lot of islands that are French. there are actually only 2 islands that are French.
wow.you were also in Suriname!nice!i live in Suriname.how is trinidad?
Hello neighbor.

DigitalIslandboy yah but Roosevelt, Churchill hiway in trinidad come on 😆😁🤣

who were you talking to???
I was talking for UA-cam. If I just played the radio I would have a dozen songs that would give me copyright violations.
welcome to trini
Thanks for the video!
Keep the soca music playing!!!!!!

On the streets of the city Also drive by the left lane?
We drive on the left lane throughout the country
Yes, the whole country. LOL ... I drove to Maracas Beach today. This driving video to there should look good. I have to check.
You should check out Jamaica
I was wandering how long it would take before a Jamaican would come on mouthing off about jamaica. you lot just cant help it you have to boast
@@trinihammer gosh lol ah too was running through the comments to see 😁😁😁
Yes😃...can't wait to return🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Trinidad has some VERY dangerous roads. If you're not familiar some locations you'd be better off staying away from certain streets.
What the hell...what's all the comments about which side of the street you're driving...that's how we do it../Go complain to the British!
You need to come up with another word than BORING. Everything to you is boring. Why do you travel if you dont find it interesting?
Do you travel by yourself? Why don't you get a mate to travel with, mate? Preferably a comfy female with nice legs.
u r burning gas and mileage 👀
Aggressive drivers but youre there at a time without traffic.
You made it without being robbed at gunpoint! Good one!

Lack of infrastructure? I think you're confusing Trinidad with somewhere else my friend. I don't think a traffic light is going to kill anybody lol
lol
not.
There's going to be another interchange there soon, those lights won't exist soon.
this is progress my friend chk these videos out JDs SkyShots Champ Fleurs Flyover, Dji Debe Highway Aerials and more under construction.
How do we claim to be that? Stop confusing us with jamaicans 😒
