This comment is a bit random, but when you are pulling the tape off your painting, my eyes seemed to have focused on the flowers on your sleeve and it matched beautifully with your flowers in the painting! Funny how your eyes see things! I love watching your videos, I find it amazing what you do with watercolors. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful! I may try this one. I’m not quite there with the masking fluid techniques in your other videos so this might be a better one to practice in the meantime.
Hi Victoria, I painted around them, leaving the flowers dry, the paint will flow where the paper is wet, as long as the board is not too tilted it won’t run into the dry areas. I do this whenever I can to avoid having to use masking fluid. 😀
Since I paint with so much water I found taping my paper reduces the buckle/warp - I will occasionally paint right on the block if I am painting more traditionally/less water
@@watercolorpour thank you for your reply. I really enjoy watching you! I am trying to incorporate a loser style mixed with detail but some how the detail always overtakes in the end.
@@shelbyprice7081 for my realistic painters who attend class, many will use the loose watercolor for backgrounds, and leave the detailed for the focal point - thank you for commenting
I can scan them to sell as a print if you would like. Please email me at bk@watercolorpour.com so I have your contact info to email you back when it is uploaded. - Thank you for you interest!
Beautiful combination of "let it run" and then, control. The best of both worlds.

Beautiful! And funny, your dress has the same colors!!!❤
It does! 😉

Thank you 😀

Oh I would love to see if you do- happy you like this
So cool!! Did you mask the flowers? How did the water not run into the petals?

@@watercolorpour okay! I do understand the wet dry ..I'll give it a go! Thank you!!!
Hope you like it, helps improve brush work too. Good practice 😀😀😀
Why did you remove the paper from the block?
Since I paint with so much water I found taping my paper reduces the buckle/warp - I will occasionally paint right on the block if I am painting more traditionally/less water
