Most Painful Tattoos on Ink Master Part 2
: ua-cam.com/video/CuXRljiT-n8/v-deo.html
These look painful
cookie yeah I agree too
Yall are stupid and hurting customers for life. Why would you set a time limit for a tattoo?
@@cockroachv the people chose to do it so technically its there fault for signing up
I'm so so sorry for the guy with the grandma tattoo... This has to feel horrible....
He should have stopped before the face got shaded, out of respect
That’s what happens when you cut corners to get a free sentimental tattoo.
@@veva1451 Seriously, for a portrait that meant so much I would've searched for the best artist regardless of price.
to be fair he didnt have to go on this show and get an artist that was being challenged for something so special, and putting extra pressure on the artist like that while theyre already under pressure for the competition doesnt help just vocalize your concerns without guilt tripping man
What I hate about it, is not the facial features but that the colouring is just so dark. He has a dark smudge on his leg now.
Also I don't get why he can't change the outline at the point they realized it. He didn't have to follow his template did he?
If grandma means that much to the guy, he should have taken the time to find the right artist, and not gone on a competition show.
honestly! how could he trust him with the time limit and the artist isn’t great in that style :/
SO TRUE, why would you get something personal by someone who your taking a chance on. Like I wouldn’t even trust the best tattoo artist in the world without looking at their work and style.
they do go on the show because they’re expecting one of the worlds best artist
Why do they?
@@kaileyross7534 Also it is free. So they are getting what they pay for.
“This gentlemen is in fact not Asian...”
One of my favorite lines ever. Amazing.
LOL
I remember feeling so horrible for the client after watching that! Bubba screwed up BIG-TIME!
🤣🤣🤣
"OH HE'S NOT?" Lol Bubba's reaction saying it was funny 😂😂
😂
I don’t like that they get blamed when the canvas has a medical emergency and has to leave. Like the head tattoo. Not finishing that head tattoo was not his fault! If he had continued, that guy would have passed out.
Nah he knew he didnt have enough time to do the full head but he was rushing it and all the skull vibration. Can you imagine a mini jackhammer to your skull for 4hrs straight with no breaks? Luckily that guy can easily get the outline filled in anywhere
i agree, also i think it looked pretty great. bili did a really good job.
The artist should have known to speak up and say that specific piece is not appropriate for the allotted time.
@@jessicaaustin5969 do you watch the show? EVERYTIME someone says that the canvas is a stubborn pos about it
@@aaronaustin9814 I do watch the show. I also know an entire head tattoo cannot safely be done in 6 hours.
Good for that guy who called the EMT for his canvas. He was more concerned for the health of the canvas than completing the challenge.
Makes me have a lot more respect for him. The judges were bullshit on that.
They were acting like the guy couldn’t finish the tattoo at a later date. It’s normal that some more advanced tattoos might take multiple sessions to finish. I hope he reached out to that guy and finished it when he was feeling better
Every artist would do that lol, they knew if the canvas blacked out they'll get fucked
Honin Akecheta I’m pretty sure each tattooist has a time constraint so they couldn’t finish one tattoo in multiple seasons.
Mortal Kombat I know😐
Which is why I said I hoped they reached out to those people later on and offered to finish their tattoo.
i don’t understand why they blame the artist when a canvas taps out? why would the canvas get a tattoo in a spot that they can’t handle...
then again the artist is supposed to be realistic and let the canvas know what will work and what won’t
@@mizerbrise yeah but in most cases the canvases are too stubborn and demand they get their free tattoo exactly where they want them
Well the way I see it, he said he would have needed another 20min, but over half of the tattoo is still missing! What he needed were another 4 hours. I'm almost certain he was happy the guy tapped out, it's just the best way for him to point the blame on someone else. But that's just a guess...
Sometimes a canvas doesn’t know their own limit. Not everyone knows how tattoos affect the human body, especially since everyone reacts to tattoos differently. The tattoo artist should be able to recognize when their canvas is feeling uncomfortable and recognize the signs of a canvas tapping out and not feeling well.
Sometimes it is the artists though, I think some artists crumble under pressure and rush and cause trauma. They've shown some where the canvas didn't tap out BUT they have really bad trauma to the skin or w/e
“A bad choice” -judge referring to the unfinished tattoo of a guy he called an EMT for and was blacking out.
How professional of you
Think he meant a bad choice to pick such a long tattoo that you only have 6 hours for. Correct me if I’m wrong though
@@finesse7463 he meant not finishing it. He was eliminated for it being incomplete which was stupid since another person in later season didn't finish twice and still went to top 3.
Dark-Sol Well yes but I still think he meant how long that Tattoe takes was a bad choice
I hope they were able to catch up with him and finish it because that tattoo was pretty clean. It was a bad choice to do so much in little time, but that shouldn’t have been room for criticism if the guy was literally blacking out
It was a bad choice. The artist should have known to speak up about how brutal the piece truly was and refined it for the time period. Some people don’t know their limits and the artist is the professional that should know better.
Imagine being penalized over doing the responsible thing and putting the well-being of your client first.😒
Ya that's such bullshit to me
You didn't kill your canvas? ELIMINATED!
That dude should have went with his gut and not done the grandma tattoo with that artist.
Right?!
Or at least insist that he fix his sketch before he starts tattooing it. Also has that artist never sat down? The thigh flattens out and looks fatter when you do, why did he think he needs to widen the face out beforehand?
Invader19x that’s what I was thinking too
Jesse Smith is great at what he specializes in. He has one particular style and yeah, I'd be scared to have him do a portrait on me, lol.
She s little plump in the face but she alright. That's what I would've told him.
The grandma portrait was horrible. The woman was so beautiful and he honestly messed up wtf. And it was so dark
Right? That was never spoken about. She was obviously white but in the tattoo you wouldn’t know that, making it not look like her anymore. That tattoo had so much potential
I could be wrong, but could the tattoo look darker because he just got it? Like the guys skin could be red making it look like the tattoo is darker than it actually is.
07foxmulder I doubt it. It usually takes a day or two for it to look like that, at least from what I see w new tattoos
07foxmulder usually artists lay them on dark because they will fade but that's way too dark
Completely unethical too. He hasn’t done a portrait in 10 years and wasn’t confident in it
first issue is giving the artists a time limit lol. time limit is destroying every single one of these tattoos. Only reason I stopped watching the show.
Me to, i agree.
One of the contestants, I honestly can't remember who it was--said in an interview that the time limit is a bit flexible. Not much, but they do give *some* time if needed(off camera of course).
Yeah, if I was getting a tattoo I would want a good, time-consuming tattoo rather than a quick and bad one
True
@@benmay1294 I see your point, but these people know what they're getting into, they knowlingly signed up for inkmaster. if they want a good, time-consuming tattoo they can just book a normal tattoo session.
do you think the canvas be like "oh yeah really cool man" and then go cry in the bathroom, like when the hairdresser has messed your haircut and you act like it's fine?
But tattoos are permanent and haircuts arnt so I would be more upset about a messed up tattoo
@@kelsey2333 yeah, same
@@kelsey2333 Never going to complain about a bad haircut xD
The guy with the unfinished head tattoo should've stood up for himself more. The canvas is a living person and if they need an emt, the health of that person should be top priority. If this was a regular session at a shop he could always just come back. Hell that artist can finish it after the show. But the health of the person cant wait.
Exactly. That was some bullshit.
I agree! I thought “just finished it after the show because that’s what a normal person would do.
The artist chose to have it on the head and should've known with the time constraints and the fact that the canvas is a human that he probably would not have been able to take it. The same thing happened in paint wars( body painting show) where the model would be put in an uncomfortable position and their body would give out. It was kind of his fault. But I do agree that he should be able to finish after the show.
the time limit part of the show is not exactly accurate. They add it for effect but usually the artist gets an extra half hour or so to finish a tatt. This artist chose to do a head tattoo within that short amount of time so it is his fault
Completely agree.
that grandma portrait had so much potential. it was such a beautiful picture
That's cartoon Jesse for yer awesome at that but that's it
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird to have your grandma so close to your junk? :D
@@fabiennemare284 i find it weird more because its the pic when she was young (i assumed). Im thinking if i ever wanted to keep my loved one close to me.. It would be the faces that remind me to them/i associate the most.
But who am i to judge.. I dont know his story with the specific potrait 😅
To be fair Jesse came back the season after and did an amazing portrait tattoo, deffo practised
She looked like a pin up model. Gorgeous.
That head tattoo was not entirely the artist’s fault. He felt bad, poor kid. 😕
Be my waifu I'm an og anime fan
Russian Corp mobb I do! Where do you live?????
Russian Corp mobb 💕💕💕
@@avirose6 guess ;)
Russian Corp mobb hmmm, Russia? 😊
The portrait Jesse did is of my grandma and the guy getting it is my cousin. When we saw this we joked around with him so much about it but it’s been so long i forgot it even happened. I especially forgot it was on tv too.
Do you know if he ever got it touched up or anything? I'm glad you were able to joke about it, sometimes it's the best thing to do lol. She's gorgeous and it says a lot that your cousin spoke so highly of her.
Did he get it covered up or removed or is he just walking around with a chunky version of grandma? She was so gorgeous it could have been an amazing piece
if the tattoo artist have to call EMT it should not fall badly on them. What should fall badly on them is if they dont. You are discouraging the artist from seeing the canvases health as the number one priority. I know they are called HUMAN canvases but i feel like the human part just gets overlooked so much. you cant tell somebody they fucked up when the person they tattood on couldnt take it anymore. i can see that the head tattoo might have been a bit over ambitious but considering everyone knows that artists get extra time on this show it shouldnt matter. If you want to stop them from doing over ambitious designs they cant possibly finish have the jury judge the design before it gets anywhere close to anyones skin and let that first judgment be half or a quarter of the complete judgment.
I would agree but I think that's more case by case? When that canvas tapped out it was. A huge tattoo on an extremely sensitive area. And that artist was a bit too cocky. I think that part of the artist's job is keeping the canvas down to earth and realistic in their expectations. I think that an artist needs to know what they personally can or cannot do and that artist was too cocky to realize that even if he could tattoo that, it's absurd to expect a canvas to go through that
@@funkylilmaam1658 I absolutely agree but that is why I said there should be two rounds of judging. Dont even let them get anywhere close to their canvases skin before checking their design. I know it makes for less dramatic tv but it makes for higher quality products. which will attract a different viewership.
@@Kaimli It certainly would take away from the drama, but I would much rather see better executed art.
@aaron veranos you'd go to jail, dumbass
I agree. And they should at least let the guy finish the tatoo after they‘ve judged it so that the canvas doesn’t have to walk around with a half finished piece of art...
But the head tattoo...it wasn't the tattooers fault, the pacient just was in pain, it's not his fault wtf?
The artist willingly chose a giant art piece in a very painful area and didn't consider how it would affect the canvas.
But does it look good?
He overworked his canvas... Mentioned really well with Kelly season 8... Too much work in one spot is pain, especially on head. He went way too big, for one 5hr sit down and heavy tribal.
Tattoo was rushed, unfinished and have multiple flaws.
the canvas is a huge part in deciding a good tattoo or not. if they back out under any circumstance, the artist is punished. he knew head tattoos cause blackouts, and he chose a giant piece. it is his fault, moreso than you think
@@funkylilmaam1658 okay but it's a contest. The client came into the show getting a tattoo for free. It's not the tattoo artists fault at all, he did try, but the client wouldn't budge. The client should know his limits and not get a tattoo on his head if he can't take it. He should have just hired a real tattoo artist not on the show so that way, he can take a break and come back another day for the finish up. I don't like clients that come on the show, knowing the tattoo artists have a limited amount of time and sh°t and don't compromise so that it works better for everyone. The tattoo artist was actually very nice and kept asking if he was okay, and even called in the EMT and showered concern. I'm sick of everyone blaming the contestants for the clients troubles.
@@Gloomyraindrop the artist still went with a full head design. The canvas may have wanted that, but the artist was a big part of creating it and in turn made a half baked tattoo.
How the F can you misspell “Corinthians”?!?
“CORTNTHIANS” lulwut?!
😂
I don't know about you but the look of horror on that guy's face at 15:07 had me laughing a little bit more than it should have. 🤣
_turned the i into a T by mistake lmao_
Right
i feel like the judges also didn't seem to realize that there was only one letter off, he seemed to think that there would be a "rest of the word" to fix if she managed to turn the t back into an i
There were SO many factors that led to CeeJay's elimination:
1) she rushed the tattoo
2) she made the bad choice to outline in color rather than black
3) she unknowingly misspelled a word
And the rotten cherry on top of this shit sundae...
4) she tried to defend herself by saying she could fix the spelling.
I felt so bad for her canvas as she’s yelling “oh shit” and “I fucked up” like yeah it was a bad tattoo but don’t scare the client
worst show ever...the way they treated the artist because the client felt sick..immature and overdramatic
I thought the same thing, it wasn’t his fault at all.
No the artist were trash, they deserved to be treated that way
@@FF-zo1sc In the case of the artist making the tribal head, he was marked down for something he couldn't control, his clients pain. Doesn't sound fair to me.
For me this is a guilty pleasure show, but yeah, I agree that they went too far blaming the artist for the canvas being sick.
The artist should know the client can’t handle a full head tat. That’s part of being a master. Knowing what you wan do in a give time.
Jesse’s grandmother tattoo was horrendous. God I feel horrible for the guy who got it
And that's why you always go to someone who specializes in something so detailed like that.
The guy getting the tattoo knows the deal plus he got it for free. Not like he paid for it
He shouldn’t have picked an artist who didn’t do portraits or black and white tattoos.
40 lashes I don’t think you could pick
Jesse literally changed her race in that tattoo. I would’ve sued or something.
The baboon tattoo looked kinda fire but just had weird proportions
it looked okay but very messy and confusing maybe
If you watch Ink Master redemption it healed terribly.
Moral of the story: Don’t get a tattoo on ink master
😂🙃💀
Me : “aye that’s pretty nice”
Judge : “This looks terrible! What is this?!”
Me again : “This looks terrible! What’s is this?!”
Nah bro these were pretty bad. Only cute one was the pink haired ladys Corinthian mermaid... And only the face and hair. This was a good/ bad list.
That’s pretty sad... why don’t have your own opinion!?
@@mathildek.3533 it's a joke.
I know nothing about tattoos and this showed up in my recommended for some reason so here I am. I too had that same thought process.
same, I didn't actually think the rose & skull were that bad, the kraken was totally ok too.. like maybe not world class but better than i've seen on many people. I would walk around with that kraken on my skin any day
Jesse Smith: I haven't done a portrait in 10 years.
Me: this one is going to be your last 😬
the obama portrait he did a few seasons later was badass. this tat here was enough reason for him to get rly good at it, i find that remarkable.
@@fromoz9294 yeah jesse is amazing i saw him in a tattoo convention in VA hes technichly on point he pushes in color in a super sick way but u dont do something for ten years of course its gonna suck
@@fromoz9294 especially since in the episode before the portrait episode, Jesse made a comment saying he'd rather go home doing a style he does for a living rather than win with something he doesn't do. Or something like that.
@@InkAndPoet Jesse is the best ARTIST who was ever on the show.
@@lacywhitevalenti7234 I'm not denying that, but being a good artist isn't enough, like being technically good at tattooing isn't enough. You need to be versatile, which was something Jesse WASN'T in season two. Season seven was a different story. He learned to be more versatile, but some slight points in technicality are what sent him home.
“I havent done a portrait in 10 years.”
So I decided I should go on a tattoo competition that measures all tattoo styles.
HELL YEAHH!! FUCK PRACTICE BRO🤣😂🤦🏼♂️
The guy with the head tattoo, that WASNT his fault for not being able to finish. The man was about blacked out how could the judges get mad at him for his canvas calling it quits???
The judging in this show is ridiculous. Inconsistent TBH. A freaking joke.
Exactly, they sent some artists home because they didn't finish their tattoos, but tattoo baby (i can't remember if it was tatu or tattoo ?) Didn't finish hers like 3 times and she wasn't?
On top of that, most of her tattoos were awful and she climbed her way to the top 3, somehow
I still don't get it
It's all an unfair rating system. For instance the baboon tattoo in my opinion was actually really good and yet the only thing they seemed to focus on was the fact that the tongue looked a little weird. They said the outline was rough but it looked fine to me. I think they have personal biases and already know who they want to win from the start
@@Ollivander009 yeah. I totally agree with you. They don't acknowledge how the art was made.
@@metallicmaiden409 I know, right? Such BS.
The judging is accurate, your just to stupid to realize it. The artist are trash.
Spelling mistakes are my biggest nightmare when it comes to tattoos
Mikey Man X my artist double checks the lettering with me before he does it.
Then use Google FFS...
If a tattoo artist doesn't know how to spell words, he should learn to check Google🤷♂️
why the hell would is be the artist’s fault if a client taps out.
The head tattoo wasn’t bad at all. It was just unfinished. But the lines were super clean and saturated
It's SO DARK. Less is more with black and white.
You can have heavy shading in black-and-gray. It just depends on how you layer the values. I have few black-gray pieces that are heavily shaded; but they’re layered. So it doesn’t look this* dark. Oof.
Aaaaaaaaand here comes the tattoo experts, right on schedule
I'm not a tattoo artist. Just a portrait artist. The less I do the better it looks. 🤷🏻♀️
Rnr - I never claimed to be an expert; I was only sharing my personal experience. If someone else’s is different, that’s great. It’s an opportunity to learn. 🤷♀️
Leah Waggoner - That’s really interesting. Is there any particular reason for this?
The artist with the headpiece was really considerate in a way. Unlike other artists who blame the canvas for their own shortcomings, he didn’t get that mad about it and he cared about the canvas.
Right?? He had the consideration to call over the EMT and avoid anything bad happening.
remember stencils placed exactly where the tattoo is gonna be are an accurate depiction on how the tattoo will look pulled on your skin (just without the colour and shading)!!!! they can always be washed off and reprinted after adjustments so if it doesn't look right as a stencil DONT go through with it until it does!
I feel so bad for the people who have to walk out of there with a terrible tattoo. Some of those look almost impossible to cover up properly. I wonder if they get some sort of compensation or if they get sent to a good artist who can try to fix it.
That head tattoo was far from bad it was just unfinished, something easily fixable
I googled it and he did finish it. not sure if after the fact but it came out good
The sad thing is that the Grandma is soooo dark that it'll take a couple years to cover it up.
Tattoos lighten
@@maddieluciano5812 that's what the couple years is for
It's not gonna get covered. With cover ups, when you cover dark over dark, the original dark spots become darker and spotty compared to the rest of the tattoo. And laser may not be an option later. I have a three year old solid black tattoo, it hasn't faded at all. He's pretty screwed
Rosebud Well he got it done for free and knew the consequences.
Yeah a tattoo that important I wouldve paid for a professional portrait tattoo artist not some free reality show time constrained artist
but in regards to the head tattoo why did he get critiqued so much on the fact that he didn’t complete it? the guy was physically ill and couldn’t continue with the tattoo. it wasn’t his fault at all that he couldn’t complete it
I feel so awful for the guy who got the grandma tattoo. It looks like a black blob, it’s even worse that it has so much meaning and potential..
@Colorful Animations because it looks terrible thats why
This is why I would never volunteer to be a canvas on a show like this....the very big potential for having a shitty tattoo.

Not really, she can outline it with white it’s actually a easy fix but a rookie mistake
Raul P yeah, it’s an easy fix. I went through a similar situation and the artist was able to fix it with white.
Mike Bennett yeah they just have to turn the t into an i, not that hard to do
The dude with the grandma portrait sounded on the verge of tears from the start. You can tell how much she meant to him. I feel bad for him
And he got her tattooed on him. Just a fucked up forehead.
It really bothers me that they openly freak out in front of the canvas. I think its so unprofessional
Complaining about how he wasn’t able to finish the tattoo when the client was in extreme pain and couldn’t continue?
Not his fault, it's the completely stupid judging criteria that blames him if he does the right think and calls EMT
Money mike wasn’t even bad at all just the square was a little bad
also a dick move to not tell him that they didnt do the box. like... you decided to do it and then fucked him by doing something different.
I kinda like it. I think the box thing is cool, just not with the other tattoos they did
@@naliaswartz986 same. its not a bad tattoo, really.
I personally don’t even think the square is bad, not having the box would probably look a little weird and I think the box, even if it isn’t perfectly straight, adds character and kinda makes it look like a black and white picture that a grandparent took or something like that
It looked crappy but i think if it was on dudes back it wouldve looked cooler. It looked like a tattoo you buy for 5 bucks at a carnival lol
The head tattoo doesn’t deserve to be on here. He did go back in and finish it later and it looks really good. I mean, I give him major props for recognizing his clients limits and getting the help he needed
That head tattoo was looking amazing tho holy shit
I don’t get how they’re putting tattoos that didn’t get the artist sent home and calling them the “worst” tattoos on ink master, rather than the ones that actually got the artist sent home.
My thoughts exactly.
For Drama. They always keep people with strong and bad personality people until mid season. Hahaha
Because sometimes the tattoo people get sent home for are pretty decent. These are just awful, but someone may have not hit the challenge as well, and that's why they got sent home.
Austin Batton these are all pretty awful
Sometimes it’s not always a terrible tattoo that gets someone sent home. If someone keeps showing the same mistakes or keeps ending up on the bottom 2 usually they get sent even if they tattoo for the day wasn’t as bad. So like if it comes down to two artists and one had a really shit tattoo but the other artist has been on the bottom more times, the one who’s been there will probably get sent
But like, if they don't finish a tattoo, can't they finish it after the judges see it so that the person doesn't have to live with an unfinished tattoo?
I saw from another comment that he did end up finishing it :)
I've wondered this as well and I bet that some of the artists do offer to do that but then again the logistics of it might not work. If the person was flown in from somewhere thats on the otherside of the country from where the artist lives then it might be difficult. I'm not sure if the showrunners would allow it to happen in the studio while the season is continuing to be filmed, they would probably have to wait until the season is done filming.
When they canvas chooses a difficult spot and the artist has to convince them to move it if they’re successful the other competitors will get mad and say that the artist altered the clients choice, but if they don’t move it then they end up with a bad tattoo a client in pain. I feel like it send a bad message to the artists that finishing the tattoo is more important than the clients comfort and the tattoo looking good in the first place
they act like it’s the artists fault that the canvas tapped out
I kinda wish there was a "where are they now?" for the canvases.
There is ink master redemption for some tats and artists
When other tattooers start laughing cause someone did bad makes me a bit pissed. Y'all do the same thing for a living support eachother instead thought y'all where grown adults? Boomers.
“Boomers”? None of these contestants are even close to being apart of the Baby Boomer generation...
It’s a competition .What do you expect ? Btw I think you mean millennials

Not a big deal to have an unfinished tattoo. I’ve had several large pieces that took multiple sessions too finish. All the guy had to do is wait about two weeks until it’s completely healed and have it finished. That was a bad ass tattoo and very well done! Shouldn’t have even been in this video at all. I’ve seen a lot worse tattoos on that show.
The tattoo was not bad and the guy didn’t let him finish but you seem to forget that this is a competition and you can’t do multiples sessions.. you are supposed to take a tattoo that you can finish..

It's because the eyes were drawn as monolids. The eyelids need to be added and can drastically alter the look of the eyes depending on what's done with them.
7:15 can't believe he thought he only needed 20 more minutes. 😂😂😂😂.
These guys really dont give a shit about the clients, by taking away points for your client feeling unwell and having to call EMT, you're encouraging the artist to treat the client poorly, and #1 rule in tattoo making is the safety of the client. Ridiculous
7:26 The man had a medical emergency if the outline is there it can be finished later for fucksake.
EXACTLY!!! there was nothing that that man could do because the canvases health is NUMBER ONE! I didn't really agree with how they delt with that situation.
I think the judges were a bit out of line. The artist cared more about the canvas’s health than completing the tattoo. I really appreciate the artist for noticing it and reacting to it with ease
@@nicolezlotnicki9106 I remember a time where a canvas gave up because she was in so much pain and the artist was mad about not finishing and the judges ripped him a new one for not trying to make her (the canvas getting a back tattoo) by having her change positions but he complained that it wouldn't have been a good angle for him to work on. He got voted off for that.
I'm glad non of those judges were doing the guys head tattoo, they talked about it like he was a peice of paper not a human.

Am I the only one who likes the Kraken tattoo? And the skull/rose is OK too.
I thought it looked fine, I Guess it didnt reach the goal of the challenge? I thought the neon "kraken" lettering looked cool and good
@Alex One-shot lol right, its not good imo
I'm sorry but the spaced out letterin of the Krak en just looked retarded to me
The tentacles of the kraken have no texture. It looks like a stuffed animal.
I think the skull and rose tattoo would have looked better if it had richer coloring to it, but the design itself was kind of cool, very simplistic.
If I was the canvas with the angel tattoo I would NOT like to hear my artist saying all that negative stuff about the tatt. Not cool to talk like that right in front of the person.
yeah, i’d be so upset too
I LOST IT ON THE GRANDMA
That grandma portrait was soooo dark
You should do a challenge where the canvases are all really good artists and the tattooers have to recreate pieces that the canvases have made
I really like your idea, now I wanna see it done 😏
Tattoo artist: 🤔
Judge: 🤬
Person who got the tattoo: 👁️ 👄 👁️
Finally. Part 2.
Why do people get tattoos in an elimination game, with time limits and challenges that aren't the artist's strong points? Why is there such a show in the first place? Give the artists the time, document their work, and consider the time in the final score, but not like this... These "canvasses" have to live with it, and the artists can have their credibility and livelihood destroyed due to stress they may not have had under normal circumstance.
Most likely cause it's a volunteer basis or insanely cheap.
The tats are free, that's why.
@@nicholasbrown4109 I'd still not push it then, like an entire head piece? Or something that to me would be as important (and seem equally difficult) as that one guy's grandma...
i especially think that it's way too fucking rushed. they should be allowed to have multiple sessions for large or painful tattoos, because that's what you do in a tattoo shop. if the tattoo canvas starts hurting too much, they can come in later, that's how it should be.
@@samuelc6246 Dude I have like around 40 tattoos, almost entire body covered. But I'd kill for some free tattoos. As long as they are small and fill in the empty spaces between my better tattoos I'm fine. the grandma one is absolutely fucked would be pissed if I got such one. But all the other ones would look decent enough to pass as "filler" tattoos if you know what I mean.
People, when you go to get a tattoo that requires written words "WRITE IT OUT BEFOREHAND OR MAKE THEM CHECK THE SPELLING WHEN THEY MAKE THE STENCIL" This makes all the differences between "angel and angle" "regrets and regerts" "Your love and you're love" and "cortnthian and corinthians" I only have design tats, but if I go in with wanting to have words I'm damn sure I write it down.
good advice!
Yep. I wrote it down, my artist wrote it down and we both read/checked it before it was placed onto my body lol.
I think the parts of the head piece that were finished were really good. The fill-ins were so steady and clean, and he has to have points for symmetry because it really is really damn good. Not to mention Bili cared more about the health of his client than the challenge, like that should give him mad points.
I hope he gave that guy a card and told him he'd finish it for free (with plenty of time to chill) after he left.
I love Ron’s reaction to Nunez saying “read it again”
I actually liked Bili's design. I like that he put his clients health first. It sucks to walk around with a half finished tat, but the guy can get it finished later on. 👌🏽
I feel so bad for the guy who got that old picture of the grandma and it turned out like that. She looked like such a beautiful woman in the picture. I mean, it still looked like her but a little fatter and not nearly as good as the picture. It is not as bad as that mom portrait in the last worst tattoo video, but it still is not that great.
Also that head tattoo wasn't the worst. Yes it wasn't finished but you cannot blame the artist for that happening. Overall I thought it looked kinda cool. I can also say the same with the baboon cover up.
right? the health of the “canvas” is NUMBER ONE priority. it’s not the artist’s fault for what happened. i actually liked the baboon as well. it was a little mucky and dull, but it was actually pretty good 🤷🏻♀️
13:21 i want to know how that woman feels hearing all that behind her
12:59 LOL she misspelled Corinthians pretty much from the getgo
Okay the last one honestly thought it was so funny when she was explaining to her canvas “oh I wish I had more time” and the canvas was just sipping her energy drink 😂
Canvases know the risk but damn if these people are in this competition I think they all assume they won't end up with such horrible works
The guy who did the grandma portrait hasn't done a portrait in 10 years and he hopes the judges will see potential in him moving forward???
In every other challenge he was the best of the competition. So...yes?
I love that the guy didn't blame his client's pain for not finishing the tattoo. He took on all thw responsibility.
i feel like head guy had a pretty decent and ambitous plan, mpst of the design isn't super intricate and it is well shaped to the head so like... he also took care of his person's health
I like how the canvas was guilt tripping him with the fat grandma
You watch this video and you might laugh, but what you might not realize is that these tattoos are permanent. They messed up once and their "canvas" will hold it the rest of their lives.
7:29
Tattooist: "Yeah I chose the head."
Judge: "That was bald."
Ba dum tsss
Well he's not Thor
Oof...the last one. Just that misspelling...yikes. 😭
That was the WORST ever. First time I saw it, I went, "OMG!!!"
I also hate her attitude in front of the canvas, if my artist were acting like that I'd feel shitty about the tattoo before I even saw it... and worse if I saw that tattoo tbf
I mean, as she said it's pretty easily fixable. Comes down to difference between "t" and "i" (which isn't a big deal)
Ciber Pank Even Nuñez called bs when she explained how she would attempt to fix it. That’s bad haha
@@MykieJean idk, I'm not a tattoo artist, but I have a few of them and know a little something about tats. You can at least sorta "imply" it by just adding a dot on top. Or white out a few lines in "t" and call it a day pretty much.
IMO Nuñez called bs for the sake of show
The last chick had me weak as hell
4:47 Bili Vegas, 2002 called, it wants its hairstyle and goatee back 😂
Ill say this this in school if i see my friend draw a weiner on his notes
"The outline is good, the texture is kind of fine but need a little bit of work done, the color is really good it really translates the emotion put into this drawing, the more you look at it the more it looks like a weiner, very well done"
the kraken wasn't that bad imo
Yeh same
i think they way the word kraken was written kinda ruined the flow
@Boston is my race track compared to the other ones, no.
why does it look like it says kriken though
I agree, it wasn't great though but definitely not one of the worst on the show.
That corinthians tattoo absolutely killed me, like sometimes I don’t understand why tattoo artists can’t tattoo words correctly, like I can understand if a person has dyslexia but most artists don’t have that cuz people that do they would have to avoid words and that’s not good for business
I don’t know what them being tattoo artist have to do with them making spelling mistakes.
Artist or not you should dubbele check.
“You did not finish the tattoo.....that is unacceptable!”
......but the canvas tapped out
