Man, what an actual throwback. I remember listening to this a bunch back in high school; I was super-into Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace and bands of that style. Anyway, you guys did a great job with this!
when i think BB its P plates and school because i could finally play my own music in my car.
The first concert i ever went to was Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Evanescence, and Papa Roach for my 16th birthday. It was super amazing! I still have the concert ticket.
Both of those bands have new albums coming out soon (although 3DG no longer has Adam unfortunately, he joined Saint Asonia)

Sadly, I don't still have the ticket stub for mine (couldn't tell you what happened to it), but my first concert was back at the end of 2011 -- it was Avenged Sevenfold's "Buried Alive" tour with Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, and Black Veil Brides as the opening acts. It was a great show.

just listened to Caleb's cover of diary of Jane in sync with this cover and it sounded amazing, I'm actually thinking of doing similar videos and actually gonna upload videos to my channel rather than having it sit dormant, due to Jonathan and Caleb, together they have given me the confidence to do something similar on UA-cam, they are great inspiration.

This cover is a great example of why a bass is important.
Especially so for Breaking Benjamin, the bass in most of their songs is absolutely amazing.
Amazing cover. I first heard Breaking Benjamin driving around Minneapolis with my friends and I fell in love -- they got me into rock/metal, so they hold a special place in my heart. It's hard to beat the original, but I think I might like the vocals here even more than Ben's. Looking forward to more!

Not a great producer myself, and I usually think your production sounds great, but here I think the guitars could've done with being a touch louder, then I think this woulda been awesome. Performances sounded killer though, especially those choir-type backing vocals in the last chorus
it might be a youtube quality as well. Some songs sound a bit louder after purchasing them
Typically when I produce covers for John I boost the vocals by 6-8 so louder then the other clients I work for. A VAST majority of Jon's fans want to hear his voice. I personally like guitars/ instrumentals to be about as loud as the vocals so that the song sounds bigger, but the UA-cam audience is a lot different then your standard industry metal listener.
This makes sense. I introduce Jon to my friends by showing his songs with most vocal work from him. And they usually like it, due to his voice. I personally would probably prefer louder music, but I do like his stuff for his voice
