Amazing that the owner of Pole brand puts his money behind his brand! You will usually not see other brand CEO doing vids like this, only other brand I can think of is Pivot Cycle.
I own a voima and this bike is 10 year ahead of the rest, seatube angle, geometry, it just makes sense. Also what a lot of people forget is that you can pull apart the whole frame without special tools.. The most servicable bike ever without spacers and stuff because of the perfect cnc tolerances.
I am glad that you appreciate the ease of service of Voima. We learned massively from Voima and we implemented the best practices to Sonni and made it even easier to service.
Leo, have you tested the frame strentght compared to the v1 Voima? The initial strength testing included the oversized, bulbus head tube and chain stays. Curious how that conpares to the streamlined Sonni.
We tested Voima with EFBE category five. And top of that we put the frame to a maximum bottom out test. Voima took 600kg ten seconds and the swingarm failed in 800kg test. As far as I know we have not replaced a single Voima front triangle. I know we have replaced some as crash replacements. Sonni is stronger than Voima.
Hello from Dublin Ireland, I am a New subscriber to your Channel...I have been looking to buy a New FSEMTB recently and my budget is 5.5k Euro. What would that Price Point get me in Component's??? I have been looking around some Bike shop's in recent month's and one other brand I was Considering purchasing is a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160. The only thing about the Cube I don't like is the Carbon Frame...otherwise I would have Commited to Purcaseing. The Price of the bike I was considering is 5.4k (Fully assembled) which is Decent value for the Component specification...appart from that Carbon Frame. Looking foreward to hearing from you soon.
He would make a Walmart bike look good. I have been tempted for several years by a Pole bike but I do not think it is the right bike for me. I ride a lot of tight stuff and the high bottom bracket long wheel base does not seem to be right for me. Living in Montana USA kind of limits doing a test ride. But I think if I were in the new bike mood I would have to give it a try.
Hey mate, Rob rides EMTB -channel has Pole Voima review where he goes over concerns about tight turns and high bottom bracket with long wheel base. Check it out, it's pretty informative.
In this video we show why you should consider Sonni. It’s a nimble bike and your anticipation about bottom bracket height is wrong. Probably because you look the static geometry nimbers. We have 200mm suspension and the BB is lower than you think at SAG. The trail version of Sonni has almost the same BB height what we used for our previous model Stamina. 200mm travel BB is at the same height in sag as 160mm travel version.
low bottom brackets only exist as a fix to short wheelbases, with a lengthened wheelbase like the pole you don't need a low bottom bracket to help with stability
Very BAD service. Do your research about this company the customer service and support is incredibly bad everybody is saying the same thing look at their Google reviews
I ordered and paid for a Sonni. Now I haven't received a response to my emails for two weeks. After paying, the communication ends. I hope this business is serious.
I'm loving my Vikkelä but can't help the feeling of butterflies in my stomach every time I look at Sonni.
Ho for it! Let's spend more time on the trails next summer 🦿

Fantastic video! Sonni seems to be an awesome machine!

Why or when should someone buy a Vioma instead of a Sonni?

Why put a video out showing off your product under bankruptcy? Seems like a cool bike otherwise. Maybe the brand will get bought or restructured..
The only thing I do not like about the bike is that the motor is very exposed and not fully covered from all sides...awesome bike though!
They sell a bash plate....unfortunately now bankrupt
