INCLUSIVITY BE DAMNED If you're a dude and watch this and you don't like what you see at least a little bit, then you're not a dude. I said what I said. The heights to which bicycle tech in general and downhill tech in particular has been pushed is worth a thumbs up. And the editing of the video plus the outtakes is just perfect.
Always love your commentary. The video quality was outstanding, the lighting and the angles were perfect. The bike just looks incredible. I really enjoyed watching this one!
Great vid Rob, very relaxing and good to see the frustration is the same for all of us. Its an amazing build with some super nice stuff and the frame construction is incredible. I cant knock the uniqueness but I just cant seem to get comfortable with the look of the bike.
Great watch , probably my favourite build yet. Iam still loving everything about my vioma, but seriously considering this. In a world of emtb where every frame design looks like the next, not many brands are pushing the boundaries with regards to design and function , stunning ride, and fantastic build.
So relaxing, so peaceful ... one would like to build bikes all day long ... till the very end ;)... Very interesting bike, looking forward to your ride review of it Rob!!
If I'm buying a premium eBike, Pole it will be. I've watched their videos, and the care and craftmanship that goes into their bikes, is just next level.
The attention to detail and exquisite finish, and then Pole watching this video think Oh no an imprecise hack saw to cut the bars, shake heads. Even Sam pilgrim uses a pipe cutter.
Love the idea of long travel suspension provided it can be adjusted to stiffen and even lock out. 750wh battery great, removable great. Whats the weight? Should we now be looking at a pinion gearbox though? Meanwhile sticking to my Rail 5 625 for further innovations, battery technology etc. 3 years and loving it at 70! 👍
There’s absolutely no need for a suspension lockout. It pedals amazing. My first ride on it I climbed a section of trail that I’ve never been able to climb on my mountian bike.
Nice build rob, one disagreement thou, I know it's probably sponsored and they probably are fantastic brakes, but a beautifully cnc machined frame then some cast brakes, should have some hopes on it.
My customer service experience with both Pole and EXT has been less than adequate. It took Pole 9.5 weeks to ship out a warranty swing arm for my Voima. They just redesigned the swing arms due to cracking issues, which happened to me. EXT took 2 months to ship out a new shock. Then when I received it, I realized then sent me the wrong shock.😢 I like the bike and the shock, but a big fail for customer support.
Having just cancelled a voima I ordered back in November that was showing no signs of arriving, then spending 3 weeks trying to get a refund, I concur.
Hey Rob, you raced to my Top UA-camr, really fantastic and enjoying videos. Well i do also have a Voima by myself and enjoyed it really much last season here in Tyrol, Austria. Now i´m super excited about a compare between the Voima and the Sonni, specially from you, because you are a similar rider like me.. So will there be a video?🙂
Great video! the result is a really good looking machine, even tough 90% of riders would be "overbiked" with such a building. The dropper post height....looks like a bit high but that bottle cage mount could be in the way if you go lower
Yeah. Much rather see the down tube done normally to guard the front of the motor. At least it wasn't completely ruined by putting a Shimano motor hanging off like that I guess.
Nice build! What is the brake adapter you used for the front caliber? Been trying to find an adapter to go from 200 to 220 that works with Hayes brakes. Can't seem to find any original Hayes ones in Europe 🤔
Very satisfying to watch...including the human errors 😊

Would you recommend this bike as an all rounder? I know it is gravity oriented but I prefer this in mullet than the Voima. Also, isn't there a proper cover for the motor?
I wish it came with (or could be set up with a Pinion MGU and gates Carbon belt drive…. Also Haibike mase a 200mm e-bike years ago. So this is not the first :)
It’s tyre gel. It’s actually for making car tyres look new again, but it was slippery enough to help seat the tyres onto the rims (the contis are not the easiest to mount)
@@ericwheelhouse4371 I ride with someone who has a Sonni, his knees kept knocking the water bottle off when he had the seat down, he uses a bladder in a hip pack now!
Foes LTS-E. You oldsters out there will know what I mean. 🤣 Hey Rob, the FidLock bottle on top tube, don't do it. I did on a Diamondback Release 3 and quickly hit the bottle with my inner thighs through tight turns and lost it. Sadly. Or back it up with a strap (defeating the FL purpose). 😜
What id like to know, Rob, is where you get the money for all these frames/components/builds. I.e. Do companies send you stuff? Or are you slingin brown sugar in yer free time 🤔
Rob, I’m glad you added the ending literally that’s all we do in the workshop drop bolts, chain links etc and then spend 10 mins looking for them😂
A brilliant video presentation as always, Rob. Thank you! The 'bleeping outakes' at the end were brilliant. Can't wait to see you ride this!
I love the outtakes because your assembly seemed so perfect. I do like how meticulously you assemble a bike.

Pole and a pinion/ belt set up would be my dream bike! Please Pole, make it happen! ….. and take my money! 😁✌🏻
I also want this set!!!!
Relentless pursuit of perfection. Thanks Rob for the fantastic video of building a super e bike
So refreshing to see someone cut bars properly.
Always love your commentary. The video quality was outstanding, the lighting and the angles were perfect. The bike just looks incredible. I really enjoyed watching this one!
Much appreciated!

Gee, this won't be expensive! Very nice build.

What a bike 👍🏻. Nice to see the bonus drops and spills after the well edited recording 🤣. Not just me then…
What a stunning bike, that machining is sublime
I would only change one thing… dual crown fork. Great build, interesting bike. I appreciate all the amazing tech that went into this. Thanks
I have a Boxxer to try on this also 🎉
Nice vid Rob.. Looking forward to see what you think compared to the Voima 🙌🏻👍🏻
Great work assembling this beautiful bike
Stunning beautiful build Rob.
A pure delight to watch this video, oh and loved the out-takes at the end

i'll bet POLE and others are working overtime on this :)

Crestline is full carbon and lighter if you want a premier bike
Could watch this all day long, beautiful, calm Style and this unique bike! Love it!❤
It's looks are growing on me. Great build. I would definitely be sticking the head tube badge on crooked though.
The most satisfying build I have ever seen 😊
Amazing bike and editing. Loved it thx
Best bike ASMR video I have seen. Well done Rob ❤
With the peaceful music in the background, I think I just had an OBE

WOW Its FANTASTIC, best regards since Colombia 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
Wow, hope it rides as good as it looks
How does the Sonni compared to the Voima? Could it be a do everything bike and replace the Voima or is it more DH focused?

Dont think ill be ordering one then@@markcosens1
@@markcosens1that’s a bummer. I ordered my Sonni in February and got it in March.
ฝีมือการประกอบเยี่ยมมาก👍
I sure love mine.
Superb bike and build video!🎉
Actually, Exess in Germany has had a CF 200mm bike since 2000..the HP-E200 with a Bosch Gen4 motor & dual-crown forks.
Thank you for the video Rob 👍
wow thats a super nice bicycle i love it ❤😍
nice bosch motor. you know when cutting bars or tubes like forks use a plumber cutter. so easy and straight

Interesting choice argotal dh front. I find the side knobs to be folding over in corners. I swapped it to the rear and its better
Pole got the shaft!
When will we get a full review fo the SONNI?
That bike is dripping in bling EXT ❤❤❤
Wow.. that’s all my brain could produce wile watching this bike being built .. just wow lol.. it’s like the Bugatti Chiron of e-mtn bikes
Para alguém que montou uma Speed do zero, esse vídeo é bem satisfatório 😄
Must say it looks amazing the double gold specially with the transfer!! But what’s the retail going to be??
This video is extremely satisfying
if I wasn't getting a crestline next week I'd buy this
Love my Crestline!
It’s like the dream bike
I don’t agree on the rear hub choice imo.ever tried to replace the drive side wheel bearing?
this is the dream billet forged aluminum bike.
A thing of beauty 💜
The soundtrack is so therapeutic. Who is it by?
Is there a ride review coming up?
Please tell us the music used in the video, it’s wonderful
Very cool (ive never learned how to ride a bike 👍)
Absolutely beautiful bike😍😍😍
Nice build rob dont agree about weight though ,I took 2 kilos of my voima and feels a lot more responsive and agile
Masterpiece.
Are you going to review it?Thanks

As always great content but the motor hanging down like a ship anchor .......... ohhh dear
Yeah. Much rather see the down tube done normally to guard the front of the motor. At least it wasn't completely ruined by putting a Shimano motor hanging off like that I guess.
So, this or the Voima?
There is only one problem when the rough surface get all the mud then good luck!
Love it, except for the brakes. I think hopes v4s in silver or intend trinity would fit the best 😅
Computor numerical
Now let's see it get dirty!! 🤙🤙🤙
Rob, where did you get the grips from?.....No mention of them in the video and I can't find them online.

Thats a Hope "M" adapter :-)
Where MTB’ing meets art.
You should raffle the bike, or a copy of it, do what the car channels do, sell merch and every 5 bucks spent is an entry.
no room for water bottle with longer dropper post in lower position?
Price tag on this beautiful build please?
What is that plastic thingy you added on to the valve? like a mini-fitness step :D
where can I buy one
I need that bike...... how much and where can I get it.❤
بہت خوب جناب 😅❤
Now how will it ride 😊🤔🤔🤔

So, aluminum is back in now?
*dusts off the 2012 aluminum specialized epic*
With a wheelbase of 1150mm in size XL and a head angle of 70degs 😂😂
😂😂😂 Ending was incredible
Husky had a 200mm ebike and my wife’s bike is 180mm but it’s the same bike with a shorter shock. These are nice looking bikes for sure
Did you grease the bushing of the derailleur? I think that bushing is supposed to be dry.
No grease
Is cycle ko bar bar charge kar sakte hain
What was the Auto Glym? was that the tire bead seating lubricant you use?
It’s tyre gel. It’s actually for making car tyres look new again, but it was slippery enough to help seat the tyres onto the rims (the contis are not the easiest to mount)
Any option to mount the water bottle on the down tube? Not sure im a fan of the top tube mount
There is just no spot. Bosch won't allow anything to hang off the battery cover and that was the only real-estate left.
Why is it even a concern? Because it looks different? Looks out of the way and super stable.
@@ericwheelhouse4371 I ride with someone who has a Sonni, his knees kept knocking the water bottle off when he had the seat down, he uses a bladder in a hip pack now!
Jeeeeeeeeeebus what was the build cost on this thing?!?!
What’s the price for this dream bike?

also how did you get the frame only?
How’s it ride?
Be super happy when it gets chucked carelessly on a uplift trailer rubbing against someones old Giant Reign.
🤦♂️😂

I will pay you the asking price
