Worked there when I was 16 and 17 almost 25 years ago. Still miss everyone. We had so much fun. Basil, Patrick, DJ, Big Mike, Tommie, Danny, Jessie. Seems like yesterday.
There’s a Max & Erma’s in Erie. It’s by the Millcreek shopping complex (beside Outback & not far from Ross Dress For Less). They have the most amazingly delicious chicken tortilla soup. One of my favorite places to eat in Erie.
I just wanna add this in here I live in maumee and that wendys closed down across the street due too a oil fire caught most the drive through on fire and I miss this place so much loved the chicken tortilla soup if you ever had it but nice too see your doing a video on this place😊
I’m shocked this place is still here. Dang. I remember when I film this pace. The Wendy’s was still open and the McDonald’s across the street was still old style.
You mentioned the low signs in that area. That type of signage is due to the requirements in that entire area because it is a planned business park with a governing association. Consequently all of the businesses in that entire development must have conforming signage as well as approved building design. It has been quite a successful business area since its inception and continues to grow!
I remember when that place first opened in the late 70s early 80s, But I think it was over by the Southwyck Mall back then. They had old fashioned telephones on the tables so you could "Call" the other tables
We actually ate at this Max and Erma's back in 2012. We were coming back to Pennsylvania from Michigan. And yes, Sheetz has confirmed to be building a gas station/convenience store at this location as part of its expansion into the Toledo/Detroit area. I read the article on the confirmed Sheetz locations to be built in Toledo, and this old M&E's location was one of them.
We had a max and Emma's near Downingtown pa I forget how many years they closed up but since they closed it became a Texas roadhouse and the Texas roadhouse to this day seems to be doing good still and there next to a cracker barrel down there to
I hear they're putting a Chick-fil-A restaurant at this location with a double drive-thru. Not sure this ex-M&E building is gonna be around for much longer. If I find the link I'll edit my comment with it.
I always pronounce it Maw-ME, with stress on the second syllable, but your corrected pronunciation isn’t uncommon. Apparently seven still remain: Erie, Detroit Metro Airport, SE of Columbus, suburban Cleveland, Dayton’s airport, and two others. I used to eat at the Ann Arbor location on occasion when in that city. Loved the kebobs with cheese.

My wife and I go there sometimes as well as Monroeville
You should do a video on the abandoned max and Erma’s on Livingston Ave in Columbus, OH.

I grew up in the Toledo area and been to Maumee more times than I can remember.
I miss Max n Erma’s. I used to go to the one on Cochran Rd. I think the only one left in the Pittsburgh area is in Monroeville.
Max & Erma’s is still open in Middleburg Heights, Ohio & we just ate there one week ago.

I wish I could try a Max & Erma's. Guess I've missed the boat on that one.
I believe the M&E in Cranberry is closed, too. Have you checked it out?
I happened to go there a week before it closed. Very sad.
@@kamX-rz4uy I loved BM. I was so upset when I pulled in wanting food & they were closed.

That Wendy’s had a fire and hasn’t opened since.
Yep, I'm well aware now. I did a video there after this one. That one was a bit rough for me to do.

Do the Abandoned Gulf gas station in Newport Kentucky
What's going on with the century 3 Mall
That flooring looks like carpet.that wouldn't help with the mold or mildew.
How About A Tumbleweed Have You Seen One
Yeah, I think there’s only one that’s open in Lancaster, Ohio and the surf franchise restaurant it’s not owned by Max and Erma
Toilet and sink abandoned at places, have you ever seen an abandoned bathtub ?
I removed the dishmachine from that place after it closed.
They torn it down
Fish tank .... What would your fish name be? Weird to ask but the fish on my mind....
Another absolutely strange named place which wallie B 26 has posted a video on UA-cam
I forgot these ever existed...
Chik Fil A bought the property and building a restaurant on the site.
I wonder if the one in Cranberry is as bad of shape as this one! 🤔
🥸

I just have one question...do you have a job?
If you knew the question has been answered multiple times. He’s a mechanic and he works on cars. It’s mentioned in previous videos.
