- Here are Mods Coming Soon to Console in Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager! I was asked to make a video on this topic because there are only 69 (nice) mods in Baldur's Gate 3 mod manager so far and people are wondering what is coming next. There's some mods that I don't think will come to console, but I'll be touching on a lot that I think will be coming soon as well as my experience with using them that will dictate whether or not they come to PS5 and Xbox players.

any idea on the Additional Fighting Styles mod?
Oakheart and my other mod Faithbound waiting for approval. I am working on adding new subclasses to both mods now and will update mods when I get approval. So console players will have shinny new instead of what PC players used for sometime.😄

Artificer mod author, my mod is marked for release when approved, but for what i'm seeing, they take at least 14 days since the last update to approve and mine mod was updated yesterday, so i think that is highly unlikely that it gets approved before day 20+-

Dude I tried it out on a new char a few weeks ago and it genuinely made me want to do another playthrough with a friend who i've already dragged through the game twice. Good work and thank you! Looking forward to playing it on console as well!

Probably because theyre easy to test for bugs
It's likely that they will show up in time since the whole console mod menu was just implemented a day or two ago. We'll get them.

Before I went to bed last night I looked at a lot of the mod. Io mods and saw some of the artists say that they were approved but still need to be tested and some said they wanted to be on console but needed to be approved alot of them don't have any external assets. I just want face mods and camp clothes. Also the artificer said he was approved but he needed to fix something cause it was bugged.
Mods could be made right now that will launch on all versions possible. Many mod creators don't communicate until the mod is released
@@Mystra I know I just saw some people asking I'm the comment section of their mod and the creators said they're waiting to be approved but it's almost guaranteed since they followed all the console guidelines
Yeah there are some inconsistencies between PC and console so Larian is testing that to make sure it works properly for everyone! It’ll take a bit of time but I think we will see a lot of great mods soon
I'm not trying to complaint, but almost a month to approve a mod or each of their updates seem a little too much....
@@MaxStoryTeller92 i don't think it'll take a month it might take a couple days or so they have to go through a lot of mods cause more and more appear daily

I do wish we had more mods, it feels less than 69 because of so many dice mods but I am loving so many, already have 20 mods installed, currently doing a new run with Double Xp, Lvl 20 mod, and a team of 4 Mystics. Might try out the expanded team and make everyone a different mystic
Highly recommend multiple mystics! Some get medium armor and shields, there’s one like a monk. Lots of fun!

@@JasonDunna It really is, currently running Blade, Soul Knife, Immortal and Wu Jen so much fun. Although it's a little annoying that you can't read the Lvl 3, 6, 14 benefits before you choose the class like you can on PC, but been looking at your other videos to help on what you get 👍
Question..... Let's say you start a new game with double xp mod and around chapter 2 they improve the mod, you don't like the mod or you want to add another mod..... Do you have to start that game over? Does my question make sense?
@@MalikFlamer I started mine without the level 20 mod or the double xp mod as I got to excited to start using Mystic and forgot add them then added after I picked up Gale and had no issues, but I don't know about if you remove it.
I'm running 8 mystics and there is zero crossover, it's crazy 😂
I think it’s important to remember consoles got these YESTERDAY. I’m already running a mystic with no party limit on double xp and having a BLAST.give it a week, if nothing new and cool shows up then MAYBE start complaining
I'm glad you're enjoying it. Mystic was the solitary 'win' for me. No party Limit? Double XP? these kind of 'cheat' mods that basically break the game don't sustain my interest personally. I would be wary of that 'No party limit' mod in the later parts of the game. I've seen the ps5 try to play act 3 with the regular 4 party members and struggle.
@@blinkusfishus2052 I’m only in the underdark now, and so far it’s ran fine. As far as being game breaking, lord knows I’ve grinded to level 12 so many times already, plus no party limit is the only way I’m gonna get to enjoy characters like wyll and Astarion. I love them as characters but I never find much of a reason to use them gameplay wise that doesn’t break immersion

Hi with the no party limit mod does all characters have dialog
All I really want is more spells, randomly generated loot lists, Aasimar, and the all humanoid-races being able to use all face morphs.
I want all of those as well! Randomly generated loot would be amazing
@@JasonDunna Yeah man, after 1200 hours and 17 playthroughs, it's a little bit soul sucking knowing exactly where to find each item down to a specific crate in a certain corner.
Making random loot with surprising effect combos would make each new run way more interesting.
I really hope armor and clothes mods come soon, I wanna put my tav in a dress and not have to wait until act 3 lmao 😭

I feel even though there aren't a large amount of mods right now it's important to remember people put a lot of work into them for the most part without any monetary incentive I'm very grateful to them, that being said I'm Very excited to see what we get in future
Nice video! I saw two of my mods in the list as you were scrolling and wanted to let you know that us mod devs are anticipating the console release of our mods just as much as you are! Both of mine are stuck in the approval phase (have been for 10+ days) and I think their automation queue or whatever is being used to check viability is just overwhelmed at the moment. Hopefully mods start getting approved for all the console players; there are some really good mods out there.
I'm still waiting to play patch 7. There aren't enough class mods, spells, armor, weapons, and race mods yet for the systems. Once more modes come out, I will be enjoying the game again, and I can't wait.

The mod manager has been pretty ok on console so far from my POV.
I think there was an issue with a Subclass Mod and being unable to pick proficiencies. I think Mystic.
@@Quantum_Bluntz Yeah there’s not much on console yet! It’s quite weak honestly but there’s many more that will soon be on there! I’m surprised they released it so soon VS getting more mods available
@@JasonDunna I think they’re mainly just behind on all the other subclasses. Because for QoL, console has some pretty good ones to start.
I need to play around with it more but getting feats every 2 level instead of 4 is pretty good. And raising the level cap from 12-20 AND use a double xp mod.

So it seems that any mod that doesn't contain any copyrighted external assets and isn't super buggy has a good chance to come to consoles.
For the most part yes! There are some limitations but bugs are a major one
I’m patiently waiting for some outfit mods. I do hope some are added sooner than later. I’ll be living in Thedas at the end of the month.

I'm not into magic builds, but the Witch class really captivated me. And Blood magic was awesome in Divinity OS2, my party was build to impart physical damage, and the blood was pretty powerful.
The Witch is really well done! The creator is in the comments of my videos sometimes and they are incredible! They have done a lot with it so far

I just want a mod that gives me the unique armor that some NPCs wear. Like the torture dude's gear from the goblin camp or Aylin's gear. I know that'd have to be adjusted for each race, but it is all in game assets.

I don't much care for dice, dyes, or hair. But I appreciate having a few interesting mods available, and looking forward to those coming.

Bro I’ve started a new game with the party cap removed and the level cap to 20 with the double exp. Loving it, looooving it. Having a party of 6 really makes it feel like dnd now

Yeah, 69 (now 68, because bugs) seems really low. When Skyrim and Fallout got things set up for mods for console, there were hundreds available for Xbox on the first day and thousands shortly after the creators got more familiar with the creation kit.
Really hoping to get the Rune Knight subclass at some point. I'd love to see how it works in BG3
I'm a real big fan of the starting armor mod and its add-ons. It let's you choose what basic non-magical armor you start the game with, including heavy armor. Some character classes start with armor that I really don't like the look of, like the bard's clothes. So I start with one of the leather armors. Just be sure to pick an armor that your character is proficient with.
I hope a mod that let's you cast darkness on a character and moves with them like you can do on 5e where you can cast it on a weapon

At this point, I just hope that gods plus and Saers Horns make it to console. I love how the horns look, and the gods plus option will be great for my prankster cleric of Hlal!

There are already new weapons in the game via the mystic class, i wonder if new clothes and armour will drop soon. I'd also like a mod that let me change hirelings race so I can custom them more.

Yeah I wanted major quest/story additiomd with new material and mechanics like Skyrim and Fallout got with their console mods. Almost everything was just cosmetic, very disappointing.

@FXIIBeaver they've had lots of time. skyrim had major change mods like the day it came out. it's not like those sort of mods don't exist already for the pc version of bg3. they just decided to not put them on the console version for...some reason.

They have to go throuigh rigorous testing to ensure no bugs on console per Sony and Microsoft standards for mods

Mystic is now my favourite class ! I have a taste of what it’s like to be a chosen one (PC player) and I refuse to go back to a life of nothingness (no mods) like the toll collector, I want “MORE MODS” 😂

Glad normal Volo's eye is coming, though it does list a bug right now where your eyes dont glow when using speaking to the dead. Hoping that doesn't delay it forever

I'm just really happy to have the no party limit mod, since I play a lot as origin characters. The lack of cosmetic customisation isn't that big of a deal to me just yet.

I think the biggest one I've been waiting for that I haven't seen yet is NPC clothes.
It was available on PC but got removed oddly
its a basic selection yes but just the fact they are there at all is insane.

5e spells hopefully and some more feats and aasimar race.and maybe some critical role homebrews would be amazing. Gunslinger subclass is what would like for the warrior and blood hunter.

There has been some whining about the mods on PS5, I didn't bother to pay much attention to them though.
These people aren't very patient, they don't understand that it takes time.

There's only 68 mods now. They removed the one that adds more loading screens.
I counted and there’s only 68 mods but I have the loading screen mod still on my Xbox so I don’t think it was removed

I’m the author of the Crypt Stalker subclass mod. While the photo I used isn’t AI generated, it was low effort. I plan on making custom assets and what not but I wanted to push the mod first to see there were bugs I missed. Now that that’s done though I will be working on custom assets for the mod page as well as the mod.
Ahh I just said that because I saw it in the "Icons for Modded Subclasses" mod on Nexus! But totally get that, someone might've taken it.

Currently playing as a Kuo-Toa named Klarpanogablar. It works surprisingly well with only a few really bad cinematics so far! But yeah, the mods we currently have on console feel very very limited. The hair mods are sweet. But man, please, let me play as a goblin!

I just started back on my first play through like 2 or 3 weeks ago so the timing is perfect. So far party size increase and different sets of dice are my favorite mods. I don’t need any extreme mods right now, just cosmetics

Just waiting on a blood hunter class mod for console. Hopefully soon! That and the blade cantrips. My current table top D&D character has a thing for green flame blade and I want it in BG3 lol.

Theres one that changes the damage types! Not sure on colors yet

Played all night with the mystic mod and level cap mod but I Noticed some problems though ,my tav won’t level past level 12 while my companions are on level 15 kind of annoying hope they can fix it
It’s all been a blast though outside of that, the mystic mod is loads of fun
