- Phil has read the comments online about him, even though Jase has always said you should never read the comments! Phil has a remarkable response to all the hate that comes his way! Jase regales the guys with more tales from his time as a baseball coach, including the time he had to throw a mom out of the game. The guys discuss Luke’s obvious admiration for John the Baptist in how Luke writes about him, as well as the difference between John the Baptist and other prophets. Jase supposes people need to have hearts like children but brains like adults.

One interesting thing to look at is the prophesies of the Messiah from Isaiah. Jesus' response to John listing all the things He's done are all the traits of the Messiah except one which is to set the captives free. Jesus certainly set the captives free through his death and resurrection, but seems to be communicating to John that He is the Messiah, but He's not going to set John free from his temporary state of being in jail. Jesus was looking at things from the perspective of God and eternity, John was looking at it from the perspective of man and specifically his personal situation.
I quit a church softball league because of my team’s attitude. I left the field after the inning was over. I didn’t and don’t want to be a associated with Christians who aren’t behaving like Christians. 😕

I grew up in conservative Christianity, and you simply need to compare the life and instructions of Christ with the priorities and values of conservative culture and politics, to see that they don't align. How can you claim this? ❤ 1John 4:7-8. The gospel says embody love because God is love. Does Trump do this? Does the Republican Party exemplify and teach this? Do conservative Christians?? No. They reject and often despise this love. They would be embarrassed to be considered so loving. ❤ Matt. 5:43-48. Christ says, "Love your enemies." Do good to them. Pray for them to be children of God. Does Trump or any Republican leader or pundit exemplify this? Do conservative Christians? No. They would consider this woke, soft, hippy dippy. They would be embarrassed to have this reputation. ❤ Galatians 5. The gospel says to reject adultery, fornication, strife, violence and seditions and to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Does Trump, Republican leaders, and pundits exemplify any of these fruit?? NO! I'm disgusted by the arrogance, hatred, bullying, and abuse that comes from conservative culture. You can not remove God's love and the Fruit of the Spirit from Christianity!! They ARE Christianity. THERE IS NO CHRISTIANITY HERE!

@@crystlfaith921Missy was probably discusted with Jase several times. When he smelled like crap, spit his chew saliva, farted in public, argued over stupid stuff etc... He has said there were many times she made him sleep on the couch.
When Missy married Jase she had manners etiquette and class. All foreign to the Robertsons. It's no wonder why they had such a rough beginning few years. Jase should thank God for being with someone like Missy.

If people have major major doubts/fears about getting married in the first place don’t get married then stay 100% single. And if a person later decides to get into a relationship/serious Relationship get wise counsel from someone they trust completely.and before they ever consider marrying someone ask a lot of important questions when their dating someone. And if a guy feels like he doesn’t have enough in common with the girl end the dating situation with her. And before a guy decides to put an expensive ring on a woman’s finger.And a guy should never ever live together with someone outside of the bonds of marriage. and without a wedding ring never ever ever do it because if a woman your seeing gets pregnant the guy is held absolutely 100% responsible for that. And the child inside of your S.O. Is your kid.and abortion is 100% murder this is absolutely 100% truth. And God also allows permanent divorce/no reconciliation ever in order to protect His daughters/her Godly family safety this is also 100% Godly truth @Phil Robertson
John the Baptist doubted Jesus. And he also did not die a martyr but a meddler. He was killed not for the gospel but because he was getting in the affairs of the king. Let’s own up to the truth; it is what it is. He started good and prepared the way but than doubted Jesus the true light.
He died because he called out Herod’s sin.
Peter doubted Jesus too
Peter was forgiven and fixed his ways. John did not, he even had his own disciples and they were together with the Pharisees.

I think John the Baptist would be least of all in Heaven because in the world we all are sinners but in Heaven there is no sin.
