Fred, nothing to be embarrassed about crying over your sister getting married. I was a little younger than Fred when my brother married and I was bawling at the end as a groomsman walked me out. Looking back I felt like the bride was stealing my brother.
My son was 15 when his big sister got married and he bawled his eyes out at rehearsal and the wedding. They were moving out of state so he was really feeling the loss. He definitely gained a brother though and 15 years later they are all still very close even though they live 600 miles apart ❤

So true about the wives opening the delivered packages 😅 I accidentally opened one thinking it must’ve been something i ordered. Then realized it was my husband’s christmas present for me. I quickly taped the box back and prevented until Christmas to not know what it was 😂 then told him after I opened the gift ❤
One of my favorite memories of Christmas is packing our whole family into my grandparents way to small trailer. 😅 we moved to a larger location but it just wasn’t the same

Zach, the world needs strong willed boys, so thank you. Our daughter is almost 17, and when I consider the boys around her (mostly in her youth group) there aren't many I would consider to be worthy of her. I want someone who will stand up for her, cherish her, someone who is confident in being a man. And even in our churches we are failing to encourage that. Sorry this became a rant, we also have 2 boys so I understand the balance of raising Godly men and out-of-control men. But don't be ashamed that your boys are strong willed.
My boys(6 & 9) got metal detectors for Christmas too and they’re currently digging up the yard worse than our dog ever has. We’ve apparently not watched how Jase does a plug, only how he finds treasure🤣 boys will be boys

Jase, you are so correct about our spouses, after 40 years of wonderful marriage bliss I hear that all the time, “I went to Hobby Lobby (a wonderful Christian company) & I spent only $120.00 dollars but got all this great stuff at 75% off!” It’s like clockwork every time she goes, she says “but look how cute this is & how awesome this will look at the next holiday” (?), lol. GOD BLESS You Guys!!!

Living in WA I have only been able to find frozen crawfish (we call them crawdads). There are a few in our creeks and rivers but I haven't seen anything plentiful although most people don't eat them here. I said all that to say, I got a frozen bag that had a picture of Louisiana on it thinking it was a product of USA. Oh no, it was product of Ch$na. 😮 No thank you.
