Very nice job! I am impressed. I am toying with the idea of going to steel studding for mine. Your propane gas line in black iron was it behind the wood as in reduce the likelihood of stone damage? Does one need the ??blue or the coloured teflon tape for propane? gas line?
Edward Carberry thanks! That’s correct. It’s standard practice to use black iron for gas under Camper trailers to prevent damage. I used flexible copper lines to branch off the black iron where it comes up into the trailer. Teflon tape can be used, but professionals recommend a paste instead because it can’t flake off and ruin appliances.
Hi Josh, you did an AWESOME job, I don't have $10.000 yet however I definitely want to buy this Tiny house! If by chance it is too late for this one, maybe you can build mine for me... In Houston, just let me know. Thanks...
Very nice but have one suggestion. Do not use Teflon tape on gas lines. You did right by running pipe and steel (not cast iron) fittings under the trailer. But when you use the tape it only takes a very small piece of tape to get free inside the gas line and find it way to the small passage where it will put the system out of service. They make a pipe dope designed for the gas line would be much better. A second item that has been lost by modern craftsmen is not putting a drop pipe at the connection where the gas enters the gas valve. Any dirt or rust would fall into the vertical drop leg, saving your gas control valve. Very easy to do.
very nice build I have a similar design for mine that I will be building however I will be installing 5 side windows instead if skylights and a 15k roof unit with a heat strip and hard mount solar to the roof. mine will also have a 78x78 dinette in the rear that will convert into a queen size bed with all water, batteries, water heater, water pump, charge controller and circuit breaker under the seats and they will be accessible from the outside using flip up access doors. do you have any new updates? I love the build.

That is incorrect.

Yeah, sorry, it's too heavy for my minivan to pull,
Thinking I need one made out of aluminum, if I get one, you want to build it?
Oh, I live in Gaithersburg.
Very Nice indeed.
Do you have the plans available?
See my other videos, particularly the 2nd update of sketch up.
