I just placed an order at DD the 3*3 ultra, magic carpe,t 6 of them cool pegs. It feels like xmas eve waiting fer the gear to arrive.🤠
What are great review, I'm about to take up bikepacking & was looking for a tarp instead of a tent due to lack of space while bikepacking. Definitely going for the superlight version. Just need to practice how to make a single skin tent with it 😁
Thanks for sharing the review.. a little advice if I may.. make all cuts with a saw or knife on the outside of your leg not on the inside. Kind regards.
but the artery is on the inside
@@jacebecker8154 that's what he means.
@@jeddy_bravo a little dark humor for you
@@jacebecker8154 oh 😂
Nice comparison I currently have the 3x3 multi cam but my only gripe is that it is rather big my brother has the super light one blown away by how small it packs down will definitely be picking on up
Thanks no waffling and straight to the point
Great review brother. Thumbs up.
The color is the downer of the superlight
As in, can't get multicam
Cool video, thanks for sharing. What brand pants are you wearing in this video?
That is a great comparison Callum. I have the standard DD 3 x 3 and it is superb but I source sticks from the local environment for fashioning pegs . Thank you for sharing. Paul :)
I carry wooden pegs which I can use as kindling if need be. 🤠
Many thanks, exactly what I wanted to know, clearly explained!
Why does your superlight show mid rectangle tie outs but all I can find on amazon is edgs and ridge tie outs only?
Might be a bit late to answer, but it’s because he’s run the ridge line perpendicular to the intended direction, ie. turned the tarp round 90 degrees.
Great stuff here! Just curious what kind of stove that was?
A very polished and informative presentation. Thank you.
Great oration, thank you.
I got a 3*3 lw and a xl,love both,very impressed by the durability🥳🥳🥳
Which is the strongest from damage???thenks..
Thanks for the useful review 👍🏼
Where di you buy trousers and backpack? Thanks
Thank you, this is what I need to know:)
The Bushcraft CaveThe DD superlight tarp 4x4 is how many feet in size ? Also what would be the weight in pounds please ?
I think it would be 4 m X 4 m so that would be 12 feet by 12 feet
Cheers..
cuidado se aleja del camino jajajajjjaj
Hey, was that the coyote brown super light or green? Ta

Thanks for the video! What trousers are those?

The way you were cutting those branches, so near to your hand and leg, made me wince.
When we get out of lockdown and the world opens up again, I'm off hiking and the superlight tarp looks ideal.
nice to see DD had updated pegs, few years ago I got worse ones with ultralight( the same pegs went with normal 3x3m) I highly recommend super light version.. a bit expensive, but worth the money. nice vid. thanks

@@Occupuyourspine interesting idea, especially for winter could be handy :)
@@Bezstopy I just placed an order with DD hammocks & got 6 of their new pegs for ground that is too hard to drive wood into.🤠
When my $139 order arrived Fedex wanted $70 customs duty & fees? so at $210 I refused delivery will DD Hammocks give me back my dough??
At least I got a few days of happiness thinking about the fun I would have.
Actually I am 79 yrs old so I will not likely get to use it I just wanted to have something nice. But not at that price.
Alas
@@Bezstopy Thanks fer da suggestions mister.
OK I contacted DD it seems I will get a refund minus their costs which is fine as it was my boo boo. BTW: I am in canada so I will stay with canadian vendors.
🤠
I sure would to have some nice stuff so I will keep trying to get the stuff.
dd trash ,for the price of their tarps dd should be sued, biggest trash iv ever seen. aqua quest will do but still over priced. if you are actually planing on using the dd for rain protection. please i beg you to buy the aquaquest. but make your own mistakes
@@Djejjcjqjjwjfkckcje dd is a joke every single tie out point is stitched but not seam sealed /tape that means you get big drops inside of your tarp if you are using any setup besides the a frame I'm trying to save people here.
@@weozol4065 I have the Aqua Defender and I'm very happy with it
@@weozol4065 i have seen similar feedback about DD in many reviews. Such a shame!
Poor audio.
But I’m not giving a thumbs down.
LOL
Fool
why the FUCK would i need a waterproof carrysack for a waterproof tarp ?????
rob b you've obviously never camped in prolonged wet weather on multiple nights over multiple locations.
Packing a soaking wet tarp into your bag isn't fun.
If you don’t know the answer give up now...because you have never been out in the rain.
Hopefully you've chilled the fuck out after 6 years!!
