Pencil i think your seeing this from a ultilitarian point of view!Deku is a hero at heart who risked his life to save his own bully in episode 1.Midoriya is the representation of the heroic spirit,its who he is intrinsically and asking him to abandon shigaraki will be akin to asking deku to not be deku!He doesn't view ascribe particular value to life!if he can save someone he will no matter what,thats why he is the greatest hero of all time,thats why he was choosed by allmight and thats why he is the MC.
I always saw deku as a less confident charecter type as Luffy. the type of character who will always stick to their convictions no matter what and will never deny who they truly are at heart.
In the case of Deku its being a hero! Someone who saves anyone in need from the worst of creatures to the most innocent.
He might be wrong but thats who he is.

Welp, we really at 3 more chapters. Crazy to think. And aye, been with the channel since the final act started 😂. It’s been quite the ride. While I have my negative thoughts on the recent chapters of the series, here’s hoping the conclusion at least, somewhat satisfying.
