- A visit to the Morton Arboretum is not to be missed!! This absolutely has to be one of the best things to do in Chicago Illinois (or very near in this case, its in Lisle Illinois, just outside Chicago). The Morton Arboretum Human Nature exhibit is so amazing. We spent the entire day exploring and had so much fun!

ABOUT US
We are Jed and Sandy Hall, the creators of Wanderful Revolution. Jed was born in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Sandy was born and raised in Maryland. We met in Washington State, while serving our country in the United States Navy. After separating from military service, we both went back to school and became nurses, which ultimately led to us selling our home in 2015 and hitting the road as travel nurses working in Emergency Departments throughout the USA.
During our travels, we lived in an Airstream travel trailer and made it our goal to become debt free. At the beginning of 2020, we paid off the last of our debts and quit our jobs so we could follow our long time dream of traveling the world. Of course, COVID-19 brought us to a screeching halt. So, we decided to build out a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter van, which we plan to drive on one of the longest road trips in the world: the Pan-American highway from Alaska to the tip Argentina (and possibly beyond).
We are excited and very fortunate to be able to live this amazing lifestyle! So, we want to share it with you! Join us to check out some amazing places, go on exciting adventures, eat delicious food, and perhaps learn some tips and tricks about living full-time in a van. We hope you will join us on our Wanderful Revolution! We will see you out there and we hope we inspire you to STAY WANDERFUL!!

Those sculptures are fantastic, what a wonderful thing to see!
Thank you! We enjoyed it immensely! Will be on the look out for more of his works on our travels! Thank you for watching!
That looks like such a gorgeous place!
It was! We could spend all day there!
Wow, so amazing. One talented person. Thank you for sharing.
Daniel Popper is an amazing artist! So much talent!
The City and suburbs have extensive parks and nature preserves friendly to horse back riding... Appreciate seeing the sculptures and Morton arboretum again. The old estate is just west of O'Hare as to a failing memory. Thank You 🤗
Thank for the info!!! That sounds fun! We really enjoyed our time here and wish we had more!!! Thank you for watching!!!
This is my backyard and I’ve never been. Must go! Thank you!
Yes! Go check it out! Have a great time!
Thanks this is a place to visit. Waiting for your next wanderful video.
We loved this place! So glad we found it! It’s definitely worth spending a day!
Wow, this is beautiful!
Awwwww thank you! Thank you for watching!!!!
Thank you for sharing..we will for sure be checking this place out.
Definitely do! It’s such a cool place! We loved it!
Thanks for the tip about the parking lots. Long distance walking can be a challenge at times, especially with bad a bad knee like I have (it dislocates which is a lot of fun 🙄). Will have to put this place on my bucket list to go to. Those sculptures a really cool :) Also, love that you lie to us 🤣
We lie to you guys all the time haha!!! Although not intentionally and we regularly own up to it! 😂 but we highly recommend this place! We think it’s great that you can drive through as well! Very short walks to the sculptures from these parking lots! Thanks for watching!
@@WanderfulRevolution Ahhhhhhh so you're honest liars got it 😉😜🤣
Anything with the option of a drive through is like finding gold.
Will definitely check it out when I get the opportunity to travel again.
You're welcome, keep the awesome videos coming!
You guys did a beautiful job it capturing those sculptures. What a beautiful place! So what did Sandy end up buying at the gift shop? 😆
Haha!! I didn’t get anything! I’m more of a window shopper nowadays lol! No place to put anything unless it’s a sticker 😂
Hahaha nice. We can understand that. Have to be strategic with everything.
For the hook shots, are you shooting them handheld with a gimbal or on a tripod with a slider?
@@AnnaDandAdam hand held!
@@WanderfulRevolution wow, that is amazing. It is really smooth and looks super professional.
Really neat place! "The thing" is likely St. John's Wort. (Not sure why I know that... probably from a Boy Scout merit badge). Also, did you know that you can always find your way out of a simple maze by making either all right or left turns? (You can touch one side as you go, if needed). This won't work if it's one of those jazzy mazes with bridges. In that case, try pulling up a Google map satellite view of the place, and as long as it's not a recently constructed one like a corn maze, that may help you get out before dehydration sets in. That's all I can do to assist you at this point, think I'll take the rest of the day off! Wander safe, WR's. -Burt in NJ
Thanks for the maze (sage?) advice! We are late replying to comments because we just found our way back out! 😂 I suggested that Sandy try the plant to discern it’s medicinal properties but she wouldn’t do it. She suggested I do it, but then who would hold the camera? Thank you for watching!
