Hehehe awww. Happy to share that I am well into my 30ths and still so happy to rock my galaxy shoes 🌌 🥰 Own it, be out of this world cool. Thanks for watching!
Wow! I didn't know that you could do this on shoes. I have just done this on my latest video on a pencil case but I will definitely try in on some shoes too. Thanks for the inspiration
Can you machine wash them ? The sharpies are made out of alcohol, pigment and probably shellac is the fixative. Will that make the staining on fabric permanent? I know it's sometimes impossible to remove copic pigment from fabrics unless one uses 99% isopropyl, still, some color sticks to the fabric permanently. I really want to try this, I already bought white plain shoes and have alcohol inks at my disposal. But I really like to machine wash my shoes, I hope they'd keep at least some of the color after washing at low temp. Probably the pigment would fade out eventually. I'm surprised you're saying that rain would cause staining. Aren't alcohol markers ment to be waterproof? They dilute with isopropyl or etanol but rain should not harm them...
Thanks for watching! Rubbing alcohol makes the permanent marker bleed, unfortunately using something like water may add this effect a little bit but not to the full effect that rubbing alcohol does. You could try Vodka perhaps. I haven't personally used Vodka but it may work. If you do try it, let me know how you go!
@@ScarskyNerdz This method will work best on white fabric type shoes. Leathers and plastics will not absorb the colours as effectively. I hope this helps! 😀
Kopparapu Suma Harsha Veena The Rubbing alcohol can't be substituted for this project as it is the rubbing alcohol that makes the permanent marker colours bleed and blend into the fabric and dries quicky as the alcohol evaporates. Hope you can give it a go. If you try something else instead. Let me know how it turned out and if it worked. Thanks for watching 😄
Thanks for watching! If the shoes get wet, the water might make the ink run. If you want to make sure it doesn't run. You have the option to spray them with a water proof spray that will help water proof them. You can buy this online or from good shoe retailers. Hope this helps 😊
Water will not have the same effect as the rubbing alcohol. Water might make the permanent markers bleed a little, but you won't end up with the same result. Let me know how you go! Thanks for watching x
@@CraftofGiving1 wow hello lol.you had me worried . All.your social media links were from 2 years ago aswell , I thought maybe you had been in an accident . Anyway happy new year glad to hear your ok
Rubbing alcohol is the best bet. Not drinking alcohol. You could try vodka, but I don't think it will work the same way. If you try it, please do let me know how it turned out! 😄

When we will wash these shoes. Will the colour remain aur wash away?
Good idea is to masking tape around the bottom to keep marker from bleeding on to it
I think you could use a layer of flat modgepodge over this to fix so that it doesn’t run.

99% technical grade ethanol should also work but isopropyl might be necessary, it depends on what is the exact content of the marker
