When i first got into collecting comics I would talk about it with my older cousin who used to collect a few when he was a younger. I kept asking to see his collection and one day he finally showed me. He casually starts flipping through his small collection. And out of nowhere he pulled out the first appearance of punisher (not even bag & boarded) I checked if it was a reprint or not and my jaw dropped. He had no clue how expensive it was until i showed him the prices on ebay. Hes gotten back into the hobby ever since i started.
I love how you have two stands so we can keep looking at the last one. What if you had just one more stand so we can keep looking at the one before it too
You might enjoy the oversized reprint of the story, which appears in the 1974 Marvel Treasury Special comic called Giant Superhero Holiday Grab-Bag. I recently got one, and the Wally Wood art looks fantastic at the larger size.
Best comic haul from a store I've ever seen. I've been to Phantasm Comics once. I'd do it more often but with gas prices where they are right now. I'll stick to my local Lehigh Valley stores.
James, seriously, that haul would take most people a decade to put together. What a great pile of comics! Superb show, thanks for sharing the spoils of the hunt. 🙂
Dude, u got me wanting2 take a road-trip just2 check out phantasm comics all the way from Canton,OH... Seriously, if I'm ever out that way, it's on my list! Get vid, awesome pick ups! 💪 enjoy ur content, u put A LOT of time/$$$ in2 the hobby! Thx4 sharing 🤜🤛
Don’t you dare give up that ASM 4 or 129!! As a major Spider-Man fan and owner of the complete run, I say you are not allowed to let those two books leave your hands lol
Go watch Bronzeville Comics new video! Important news on your favorite ring bearer Green Lantern. Also some GL keys you probably haven't heard of. Go watch now🤑
thanks for the info and showing off some comics I've never seen before! I'm only into digital comics (with VeVe) so it's a bit different but as a newer guy who jumped into comics only last year. It's always nice to learn about people who've been into this for years and know a lot more about which keys or FA's are worth going after. Since I'm more so into the covers and art, significance of characters over buying books for their stories or to read them
Completely love your content! I just wanted to throw this out to you. In the video you said you picked up Iron Man #28 BUT it’s actually Marvel Super Heroes #28 - tells his origin story. You probably knew that…. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
Congrats James this has been a long haul in multiple ways for you! These are grails for sure. ASM 129 incredible but I'm blown away by those GL pickups. Great stuff.
Great books, love watching you👍. Amazing to see you have. I just sold an AMS 11 but it was in bad shape. Hopefully I can find one in better condition. It's great to see all these comics but also depressing to see how many comics are out there that are way out of a normal persons price range. You make it nice to watch because everything isn't graded. Keep it up and GOD BLESS 🙏😇
Congratulations James, lovely comics, especially the ASM issues. I think that if I had to choose however, I'd go for several low-number ASMs over the single ASM #129. Regarding Iron Man, the issues you showed just brought out to me how fortunate that title has been in having such excellent cover artists over a long time. So you'll be broke for a while: so what, just look at the awesome comics you have to read!
Super nice books! Btw, back in the early 80's Overstreet did list Hulk 180 as the 1st appearance of Wolverine. Not sure when it changed to 181, but both are incredible (pun intended) grails!
That's a great start to Iron Man specialization! One of my favorite under the radar covers is #143 😎 along with #126 & #69. Everyone knows about #150 but I still have to say it, it's a personal favorite badass cover that has a truly badass story to go along with it.
The reason these comic shops can give “great deals” on keys is because people drop them off on consignment. So basically the person who dropped the book off gets screwed. Always, always use a private seller, that way they’re working for you opposed to working for their business/relationships.
Nice Iron Man pickups. I picked up a mint copy of Iron Man 197 for $1.00 and I don't usually collect Iron Man. I am trying to fill in my X-Men and Daredevil holes before I fill in other collections I started long ago. I need to venture out further from where I am because i have cleaned out a lot of the dollar bins in my area.
Batman 190 is a popular carmine falcone cover art. I have Batman 169 and that is the 2nd silver age appearance of penguin. The 1st silver age appearance of the penguin is Batman 155.
I have always had my own collection of comics when I first started buying as a kid in the 60's. Mine are mostly from the 70's. I completed my Iron Fist collection over 10 years ago...I have continued just recently looking for books I like.
James, you lucky dog that AMS129 is sweet and it is my holy grail book but I decided to save up a little more to get a really nice copy and then I only got like 20 books left to get then my comic collection is complete and then I am done collecting.
Hi again just for fun I thought I might compare my collection to yours I consider myself a fairly serious collector and if it’s on scale say you are 100 I’m about a 6 hats off man really enjoy your vids just out of interest have you got any “rare ‘ comics like misprint s etc cos that’s what I been focusing on recently instead of runs it would be great to here your thoughts keep em coming thanks 🙏 man
@@MintHunterComics awesome stack of older books! Great video and haul! How much do you think you paid for everything? That first appearance of the punisher is awesome!
I like having them graded but not slabbed. I crack the slabs and put the label in the back side of the raw bags. Best of both worlds. Just a suggestion
YOU ARE HAVING FUN IN THE SUN ENJOY, ENJOY THE DAY.
Nice haul. Love those early Spidermans.
Oh absolutely!
I bet he bagged and boarded that one with a quickness?
Always loved that first punisher appearance cover, the yellow background really pops
Amazing video, great pick up!! I am surprise with some of the ones you never had.
Those are some incredible pick ups
Incredible haul! Very nice job. Another fine video as well. Thanks!
You’ve been going crazy with the grail purchases lately. Congrats!!
I loved shopping at Phantasm Comics while I was on assignment in that area last year.
I love how you have two stands so we can keep looking at the last one.
What if you had just one more stand so we can keep looking at the one before it too
That DAREDEVIL #7 is one of the greatest Daredevil stories from the 1960's.
You might enjoy the oversized reprint of the story, which appears in the 1974 Marvel Treasury Special comic called Giant Superhero Holiday Grab-Bag. I recently got one, and the Wally Wood art looks fantastic at the larger size.
Saw at the beginning, you handing over that Big stack of Cash....But Man ,did you get some AWESOME GRAILS ...Beautiful Books !!! 👍
Nice looking Spdernan/ Punisher! Thanks for sharing!
Those spideys are ridiculous… your LCS is awesome and your buddy who u got those books for is lucky to have a friend like u
Best comic haul from a store I've ever seen. I've been to Phantasm Comics once. I'd do it more often but with gas prices where they are right now. I'll stick to my local Lehigh Valley stores.
Dude I know what you mean. Gas is brutal right now
Wow. Those are some unbelievable grails. I’m sure there is no regrets whatsoever
In awe of that 129.. one of the best hauls I've ever see, I'm a jealous dude here. Congratz!
Dude, Iron Man #28 was actually Marvel Super-Heroes #28.
Same with #32
Very cool to see you starting a new run to collect
That first appearance of Punisher is sweet
Nice haul! ASM 129 is a serious bronze age grail, I was close on the Hulk 181.
Beautiful group of books thank God he didn’t “punish” you with that beautiful last book. LOL
Amazing books James! Huge additions to the personal collection!!!
What a haul!!!! Love that you are still enthusiastic about getting these even though you have had some of then in the past.
James, seriously, that haul would take most people a decade to put together. What a great pile of comics! Superb show, thanks for sharing the spoils of the hunt. 🙂
Congrats on your find dude, they look awesome!
My personal grail..... ASM129. The fabulous four fingered freak is jealous ! See yaaaaaaa
Bro that's sick. I always look to buy in bulk as well...it's amazing the deals you can get that way. Nice job!
Always!

Fantastic video some great gets love the DD and Namor issue wow!
Wow!! You got a first appearance of The Termite!
congrats!!!!! very nice, love new book joy
Don’t you dare give up that ASM 4 or 129!! As a major Spider-Man fan and owner of the complete run, I say you are not allowed to let those two books leave your hands lol
I am in agreement haha
Incredible haul! I just grabbed a copy of Marvel Tales 106 which is the closest I’ll ever get to that grail you just picked up. Have a nice weekend!
Well done ! The ASM 4 is the only book from your pile that I'm still missing !
Don’t worry James my mind is mush you’re doing a fantastic job nice haul
Go watch Bronzeville Comics new video! Important news on your favorite ring bearer Green Lantern. Also some GL keys you probably haven't heard of. Go watch now🤑
I strongly doubt there's GL keys I've never heard but I will check it out! Hahaha

... ASM #4 & 129... Two books that I don't have yet. Officially hate you now. :P (LOL!!) Great pick-up!!!!
Oh no! Hahaha
That is one of my holy grail books as well nice haul man
Wow nice haul!!! Love that ASM 129!
I’d be interested in your old Batman 227. Lmk
I’m livening this video. Great books.
Wow dude congrats these are major grails wow, I picked up a few grails recently also.
WoW congrats! Those are some sick comics!
That iron man 28 is a reprint I believe. Iron man 28 has the controller on the cover if I remember right
Yeah, it's actually Marvel Super-Heroes issue 28.
Another incredible comic haul ! Congrats big time, and I'm more motivated every time by your channel !
Great books, love watching you👍. Amazing to see you have.

Great score!!!!
Sweet collection! Oh, $#}+! The first red suit! This was really fun, man! Thanks.
Indeed!
Damn man that's super dope! What a great haul! Those ASMs look to be in great condition.
Thanks!
Amazing books! Congrats!
Love the content and what a haul!
That's the second silver age appeances of penguin I believe
Batman #169 is the Penguins 2nd Silver Age appearance, #155 is the 1st. #190 is considered to be a classic cover & therefore brings a premium.
@@ghastlybat107 thanks for the info;. The cover is amazing.
Some amazing comics, love the penguin cover, think that is second silver age appearance 😋
Great vid really jealous about that first punisher
Awesome pick ups !
I will admit, I am jealous! I know the grade makes the difference for your top pick, but I would love to get my hands on that 1st app of Sandman
Seriously great haul! I haven’t held a ASM 129 in my hands since it came out. 🕶
Congratulations James, lovely comics, especially the ASM issues. I think that if I had to choose however, I'd go for several low-number ASMs over the single ASM #129. Nice Batman 227
Those are some great books James!
Thanks 🙏 another great video
That Batman cover is so good.
The best
Congrats on the Daredevil 7. Stan Lee often cited that story as one of his personal favorites.
Was is it extra hot in that room when recording because there was so much fire. What a stack!
Absolutely Amazing pick ups! 🤯 Mind blown
Great books! Love some good old Iron man books my main goal in collecting is getting all off iron man vol.1
That's a great start to Iron Man specialization! One of my favorite under the radar covers is #143 😎 along with #126 & #69. Everyone knows about #150 but I still have to say it, it's a personal favorite badass cover that has a truly badass story to go along with it.
Awesome punisher comic I was just speedrunning through punisher the arcade game in mame...
Also AVP aliens vs predetors on mame...
Salud amigo 🍸👏👍
Gotta love all those Spidey books! Well done James 👍
Now that’s what we call mint hunting. Keep on rockin’ brother.
Yessir!
congrats these looks amazing
Batman 227 and ASM 129. The two grails I'm so hunting down.
I didn't say congratulations! You put so much work into the hobby
Too get too this point one day!!! ☝️Great Grails dude!!!
Thanks Dan!

Batman 190 is a popular carmine falcone cover art. I have Batman 169 and that is the 2nd silver age appearance of penguin. The 1st silver age appearance of the penguin is Batman 155.
The hunt is everything. Working on a full Wolverine run. Already got most of it raw (with most keys) now for graded copies.
I have always had my own collection of comics when I first started buying as a kid in the 60's. Mine are mostly from the 70's. I completed my Iron Fist collection over 10 years ago...I have continued just recently looking for books I like.

Nice, I have Iron Man 1-10 out at CGC right now but as most fall under the economy tier I am looking at a very long wait.

I just got a copy of that same Green Lantern as well. Mine might be a little less pristine than yours, but I like it all the same.
That hulk #180 is awesome I once found a 181 on accident.
That was actually Marvel Super Heroes 28, not Iron Man 28.
Crap haha
Nice haul
ABSOLUTELY
A successful hunt!
The most successful hunt!
Man, that ASM 129 with the ASM 4 slightly behind it is quite the sight. Nice haul!
Right?!
@@MintHunterComics awesome stack of older books! Great video and haul! How much do you think you paid for everything? That first appearance of the punisher is awesome!
Treat Yo self, fool! Impressive ASM haul. Even the Iron Man and DD keys. First red suit was DD7???
"I'm not buying anything..." LoL. I don't believe it
I like having them graded but not slabbed. I crack the slabs and put the label in the back side of the raw bags. Best of both worlds. Just a suggestion
Fantastic pickups
My fav out of that whole stack was the Batman 227
