I bought this sad Toyota Previa LE van off CL for $800 so I decided to film the process of doing a general tune-up as the location of everything is freaky!
“The Humpty Dance is your chance to do the Hump” You man. Thanks for the video. I just picked up a 93 and, as I am known to do, I hit up UA-cam to dive in on knowledge. This series is so helpful. All the stuff I wanted to do. I still don’t know for sure if I have at super charger. I’m doing the full tune up this weekend and I’m about to order the SAD replacement parts. Really wish I could learn more about balancing it on UA-cam but I might have to do some actual reading. Mine runs great til I turn on the A/C. I’m afraid of what might happen if it fails. This series is the best of what’s on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing.
Hey! Man I've been watching your videos for years helping me fix my Previas and I appreciate everything you've posted. It's a real life saver sometimes when I can't figure it out 100% from the manual. Thanks!
@@jimmyjimjims7483 Glad they help out buddy. I have been a bit busy with other cars but I do have a few more clips to upload when I find time to edit them. Hopefully this year I can start work on my 1990 AWD RV Tarago and then there will be a lot more clips coming.
@@jimmyjimjims7483 only thing i noticed was that my rotor cap is at an 8 o clock position on my previa and yours was straight down at a 6 o clock posistion.. wierd...
@@sky-zw9ph Depends on which cylinder was firing when the engine was shut off, that will change the orientation of the rotor. Not only that but not all brands of rotors are created equal and some are offset
Nice, informative video. I have a '91 Previa that just flipped 290K miles today. It's in great shape but has an oil leak coming from the valve cover. I have to suck it up and change the valve cover gasket, which seems routine but will have challenges I'm sure. I'd love to see someone make a clear, informative video on that subject matter.
Unfortunately there will be no update (or anymore videos) on this van as it was destroyed in an accident a few months ago :( it has been replaced with a 2001 Toyota Sienna so there may be videos coming on that
@@viralmusicyoga A Ford Raptor ran a stop sign and t-boned the passenger side of the van so hard it rolled onto its side, completely totaled it :( I bought a 1993 Toyota Previa to replace it that I'm fixing up on this channel right now

One thing you forget to mention was after doing everything you did. Remove the EFI fuse for 2 min to clear the codes in the ECU. Great job btw.
