I love the Previa! Best minivan I've ever driven. I don't think it will ever be beat in my opinion. It drives like a raw old school car. The new cars now a days feel like a gaming computer with no road or steering feel.
So cool to see that van sideways and burning rubber 😂 The RWD was an issue with most minivan buyers of the day, my parents included, because of tricky handling in snow, where the weight of the engine wasn’t pressing down on the drive wheels.
When I got the email I was in awe to see you all had a UA-cam channel. Especially since signing up to see what comes up for sale. I was excited to see a video on the Previa after seeing the listing. Interesting video format shooting it in a 90s theme. Especially shooting a video for a minivan nonetheless. I'm subscribing because I'm all for it.
I still have my 1993 Previa LE in 2024, now with 300K miles on the original engine and transmission. Reliability and durability you can depend on. It is indeed a keeper.
First time viewer to your channel. Loved your knowledge and presentation. I am into older vehicles and was looking into the Previa. Thank you for your channel! SUBSCRIBED!
I own a 1992 previa ex AWD; only 124k miles. It's the nicest one I've seen in years. Still has Nintendo Gameboys, Chuck e Cheese tokens and juicy juice boxes in the back. I'm going to sell it
I have a beautiful low mile 93 Previa LE. I feel like it holds it own on the highway. I expected it to be MUCH slower than it actually feels. It is not quick by any means but it's not dangerously slow either. Plus the non SCs don't seem to pop they're head gaskets quite as frequently. BTW, this was a really well done episode. I am definitely subbing.
Awesome video and tribute, Andre. Do you think part of the front collision safety issues could have been from having no front engine to absorb some of the impact?
A very innovative vehicle for its time that was hampered by an extremely high price tag... in adjusted dollars, the Previa was monstrously expensive in todays money... a fully loaded model would crest 70,000 Canadian dollars in todays money... great van... but Sienna was what people were asking for... I had two of these and know their benefits and quirks. The rear sets folding to the sides were neat but extremely dangerous if folded flat and someone pulled the cord without holding the seatback... it would snap forward at such a speed that it would easily break your neck or hurt you... but otherwise a great handling, fun and very good looking van for its time.
I don’t know why UA-cam took so long to recommend your channel but 1. I will make it my mission to get you more subs!! 2. I am rock hard right now 🗿 Thank you for doing this!!!!
So ridiculous driving this van on the track and talking handling and so forth. Vans are family carriers not a track car. I don’t buy a van for great handing and acceleration. This is super ridiculous, it’s funny!😅
Also, i love the retro style of your videos. Please continue doing it! The music and aesthetics and camera angles are super 90s! The best!
absolutely, will do!
These are incredible, please keep it up!
Incredible stuff, here for the come up. Don’t stop making these, going to be a huge hit!
thank you!!

True! Although Toyota offered this van as an All-Trac for those that needed the AWD traction
@@newoldcarsOh yeah, good point!
We had that one! It truly was such a a great vehicle
drives perfectly in snow, weight distribution 50-50, very stable, understeer helps decent uphill drifting if needed. 10+ years of service in the Alps

This content is brilliant! Thank you for posting.
I want to see the first Sienna review hopefully the van is old enough to fit the criteria.
Criminally underrated channel… keep it up and you’ll have 100k subscribers in no time

"The real party trick is in the rear." 👀 Hello! 🎉
i have a silver 1994 awd previa non SC, 351k miles rn, still runs like a top
Just bought a 87 aerostar 170 thousand miles runs awesome

Exterior is so aerodynamic, which is why it still look modern.
Your Instagram story ad got me here. I’m happy for that.

Yes! Long time coming
Brought me so many memories ❤
I am planning my first Previa this Monday. Thank you for validating what I think about Toyota
That Previa is CLEAN. Most minivan interiors are long ago trashed by kids!
At 2:30 we’ve come a long way. My 2017 Sienna AWD is rated for 18/24, has 296 HP and 263 lbs-ft of torque and has more cargo volume.
I have a jdm 1996 Estima 4wd sc, it's a great car. Thank you for the video. Greetings from Siberia.

Nice presentation and great information…🎉🎉
And the Previa still run when the others have been scrapped for a long time...

@newoldcars sorry… I told my cousin about your Previa video and he had to mention his unmentionables
@@newoldcars T100 next please!! If you can come to Dallas I *might* be able to get you the perfect one 😈
Simply The Best.
Thunder hill skid pad! Love that place. My last yt vid was shot there
19:00 *Cries in 2001 Sienna*
I have a 99 and swapped out the rims for 16s.... way better handling
While the Sienna is still a reliable choice, I do long for owning one of these Previa vans
Lol the egg plate
