    Once called in sick, clearly poorly and was asked to to test for covid, if negative then do visits.😢if positive then do admin work at home😅

      What? That’s so unprofessional of them. Maybe you made them think you can manage. You should have insisted that you’re poorly and unable to do that, believe me there’s nothing they’ll do. You are entitled to sick leave and you’re not advised to work when you’re sick. Wanted to type some things, but let me keep my cool 😂 Next time, insist you’re poorly and can’t work and they’ll not penalise you. Your manager and workplace have the duty of care towards you and they have failed you on that with what they did. I always say it, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

    Favour you inspired me a lot. I started following your channel when I was planning to move to the Uk 2021. Am happy to stop by again. Motherhood looks good on you. Am done with my masters and graduated last month. Thanks to always educating us❤. I love this content too it’s quite helpful. Stay blessed.

    Oh… that was indeed a lot to carry. I thank God everything resolved for your good. I take that sick day whenever I need it; mental health is really vital. Although at my office, they don’t grant days off during one’s probationary period, if you’re sick, there’s nothing they can really do.

    I lost my documents and laptops twice on the bus and found it both times, That’s the beauty of UK.

      Well, it depends on the city and the persons in the bus who found your stuffs. Bad things happen in the UK too. You might not be this lucky always…

      @@IntentionalFavour this is true. I lost my wallet on a bus many years ago here in US (my resident card was inside!) and a Good Samaritan brought it to my house and put it in the mailbox. Some people are good, but some are criminals too. We thank God that the good people found our property.

    So sorry for what you went through. You were really really naive. Train to Doncaster from your place is cheap. Within 35mins max u are there. So sorry but thank God you found that work phone. The office is a war place. Sorry dear.

    A quick question, please is there any school that does Masters in social work online courses, and do you have ideas of cheapest schools to study social work

    • @IntentionalFavour
      @IntentionalFavour  8 місяців тому

      Nope, there’s none. I once made a video on affordable universities for social work, but not sure if it’s up to date as things change. University of Chester and Liverpool Hope University are as at then. Just do your research.

    THIS IS AN ADVICE
    I know making content is not an easy thing, and I appreciate your effort. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of;
    Most of us started following you because of the content you were producing back then (educational-related). Suddenly, you switch to doing lifestyle vlogs (which do not have a specific focus). One minute you are talking about immigration, the next minute you are speaking about parenting and motherhood. That's two minutes your subscribers would not get back. Have a niche or speak about a specific subject. This will improve the relevancy and quality of your content. I don't mean the poor audio quality but you should rather invest in other equipment too.
    Most importantly, you should know when to stop or what not to share. I know you will argue you choose what to share and that's your business. The Internet does not forget and you should not discuss ‘everything’ in your home. It's unnecessary and nobody cares. If you will not be proud of the content posted today in the next 5 years, then stop and think about it before posting.
    I have been following you for more than two years now, always wanted a way to contact you. Take this as an advice from someone who cares. You can reach out, I have a lot to tell you but it may not be appropriate here.
    May the peace of the Lord be with you.

    • @IntentionalFavour

      First, thanks for your advice; I know you’re well-meaning and more importantly, for being respectful while doing so, I appreciate that.
      Secondly, I’ll just draw your attention to my first ever video on UA-cam. You can watch it and you’ll understand my channel better. It’s so easy to find, just click on my channel, then videos and select “oldest”.
      In the video, I explained why I became a UA-camr which so to share LIFE EXPERIENCES on issues pertaining to FAITH, LIFESTYLE, STUDYING ABROAD, etc. I also repeatedly used the word “journey” explaining that I am on a journey.
      “When I was a child, I spoke like a child…” I started my channel when I was a student, hence all the student contacts then, or in your words “educational related”. I have since transitioned from being a student to a skilled worker in the UK. I don’t like theory so much and I’m a big fan of lived experiences. I can’t continue to film such contents cos I’m no longer in that phase. Check UA-cam, most people who used to film student contents no longer do cos they’re not at that phase anymore. IT’S THAT SIMPLE.
      You need to understand that life is in stages. I’m now a wife and mother and still on a journey (as stated in my first video) Hence I share contents related to that. I’m still a skilled worker and a social worker for that matter, hence why I still share my experiences on these subjects. It’s very easy to understand.
      In life, you can’t please everyone. People who appreciate me and my contents enjoy my videos. Many people like you who have been following for years appreciate watching me transition to different stages. They’re happy for me and feel inspired which is what my channel/brand represents (being an inspiration to people while sharing my experiences with them). If you understand this, you’ll keep your advise on what to share or not to share. Yes, I’ll argue that I choose what to share and mind you, I don’t share up to 80% of my life or what happens in my home. Anything you see me share is what I’ve thought about and decided to make public. To you, it’s unnecessary but to many, it is. To you, nobody cares, but many do!!!
      If you’ve followed me for 2 years like you said, you should have known better ways to contact me. Makes me wonder if you’ve really been following me.
      The peace of the Lord be with you too.

      Thanks for your prompt response. I appreciate the fact that you’ve acknowledged I don't mean any harm.
      It's your channel and your choices. You can document your journey in whichever way is suitable.
      The fact that you took time to respond paragraph to paragraph means my message hit the right place, and that's why am happy. Subconsciously, next time you will double-check what you post.
      My two cents.

      @@mckad your message did what? Next time I'll do what? You obviously didn't read my reply. Cos if you did, you won't leave this comment. You think your message added value to me? You were respectful in your message, hence I took time to explain things to do which you clearly do not understand. Sadly you still don't understand, hence I rest my case. Think whatever you think but continue being respectful, not just to me, but everyone you meet...

      Favour, please ignore. Some people always prefer to confine people to a box or have them fit a stereotype. Life is lived in stages and people will vlog what's relevant to them at that stage! The one who will relate with it will, the ones who won't will move on. Nne please keep being you.

      Thank you @intentionalFavour for sharing every season with us! I need to add that, you showed me it was possible to have a distinction in my masters and also get a job after school ... And i manifested it!. 🙏
