Not me sittting here crying at how damn precious this is! 😢🥰😊 in my 60's, I never thought in a million years I would be a super stan of a boy band (men now)....BUT HERE WE ARE! I am not ashamed either. I love these guys, so much!!!💜🦋🫂
The other day someone said they do not follow BTS for their lyrics, it blew my mind! It’s one of their superpower, they are so talented and always with so many layers!
That blows my mind too. I know it can happen but my follow up questions to them are: how many songs have you heard is it just title tracks not the b-sides? Do you not look up the lyrics or good source translations? And finally, are you a kpop fan are you into lots of groups? The last question is to determine if they were already into kpop or are into it now as there are a lot of visual stans in kpop that seem to put the music last.
@@roguechevelle with those people its usually clear they're not army or an actual fan at all, just casual listeners. i think a chunk of the general public got to know and like bts, but dont make the effort to dive deeper into their works. they just listen to catchy tunes and leave it at that i think. i personally only know songs of ariana grande because they're on the radio, and im not interested in finding out more (tho i also dont follow her in general); so it might be like that for them with bts. they're just here for light entertainment, nothing in-depth.
They have so much content in their lyrics. A whole lecture can be done by analyzing GOGO and its cultural approach to Korea economy and the same to Baepsae
They always put sense in all their songs/lyrics. I have not encountered a song from them that was just written mindlessly. 💜 Anpanman is one of my favorite... thanks for the lyric analysis.
Anpanman is how I see BTS - not perfect, not all powerful but giving their all. "They tear themselves to pieces for their art, for each other and of course for ARMY." 😭💜 Fairlane, what are your thoughts on doing a deep dive into 'Dope' and 'Fire' together or back to back as two sides of a coin?
Thank you for taking your viewers back to BTS. I have started reporting channels that are putting out incorrect information. My small way to put a bump in the road to ppl trying to bring down BTS or ARMY
this one's a breath of fresh air from all the negativity. once again, i'm reminded of why i got into the army rabbit hole in the first place. i'm really into symbolism & analysis as a literature major back in college. that book's interesting. how i wish i could get a copy, too. but all i can do for now is to support you here. btw, i was a subbie back when you started. back then, you were into various aspects of asian culture. glad to see your channel getting more attention coz you definitely deserve it. 💜
Anpanman is one of my favorite songs! FYI, the origin of the inspiration for the song is Anpanman which is a Japanese children’s superhero picture book (then movie) series created by Takashi Yanase.
My friends are always amazed that I'll compliment strangers on things that catch my eye. The strangers always smile, say thank you and sometimes we briefly converse. My friends say, "Who was that?" I say, 🤷🏻♀️ "I don't know, but they are really nice."
Anpanman is my all time favourite BTS song!! I listen to K-pop a lot nowadays but what strikes me as a surprise is that what would be a b side song for bts album is the title track for so many groups. Anpanman is such a song.
I i fell in love with bts the first time without even knowing what they look like because of the lyrics of zero o clock .. i accidentally listened to their song in my language when i was looking for music to help you when you are depressed ... then it was what more and more discovering all the songs that have Deep mennings .... for me they are like an anchor that saved me .. there were no artists like that and I don't know if there will be either .. I think that the world that away from their music for various causes based on hate is the biggest loss...there was no music that really healed those around and artists like them
Im not saying the book wasn't read before by RM, and that may have helped him with the lyrics. But I dont think the reference to BTS in the Soop 2 and the book connects to the song. Anpanman was released in 2018. BTS in the Soop 2 was released in 2021.. probably filmed that same year or the one before Again it doesnt mean they didnt read it before that and used it to write the song.
Please bring attention back to BTS….the other topics are starting to bring more of a negative mindset. It’s like listening to too much American politics…

They're missing out on a lot.
Probably a casual fan who might think they’re army. There’s no way ARMY don’t appreciate BTS lyrically.
Hello Fairlain, Thank you for the new video of this series. To quote Jimin-ssiii: You're nice, keep going!
Thank you so much for pointing the compass back to BTS and their music.
They have so much content in their lyrics. A whole lecture can be done by analyzing GOGO and its cultural approach to Korea economy and the same to Baepsae
Thanks for breaking down this song. I never understood its meaning. Can you imagine the conversations these guys have had?
Right!......😊

Fairlane, what are your thoughts on doing a deep dive into 'Dope' and 'Fire' together or back to back as two sides of a coin?
BTS is food for our hearts and minds! They feed us with peace, happiness, contentment and kindness to others! Also courage and loving oneself!
Thank you so much for doing this , bless you, this makes so much of a difference.
Thank you for taking your viewers back to BTS.

This is one of my favourite BTS songs! Such fun but also a great message - but then again, BTS songs almost invariably have a deeper meaning.
Thank you for this video :) Anpanman will always be in my Top 5 BTS songs.
I love Anpanman so much!
The song and the superhero
Thank you so much for bringing back the focus on BTS and explaining the depth, beauty and meaningful lyrics of their songs 🙏🏼💜
Thank you for your posts, I appreciate your thoughtful insights and "E" quotant in how you translate an analysis 💜

BTS is getting me through this difficult time in the political debacle in America. They have calmed me and really helped so much.

I didn’t say the song was inspired by the book. I talked about the connection in the messaging
