Do you think that being prescribed birth control pills is a failing to manage your PCOS or you feel that there are plenty of risk associated with birth control pills?
Despite the number of myths, birth control pills actually help you restore the hormonal imbalance and hence help regulate periods and reduce the levels of male hormones. It also helps prevent the risk of endometrial cancer and is an easily reversible method of birth control.

This really helps. I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago, and my gynaec suggested birth control pills... without having any dialogue with the doc, my mom told me I can't take those. For years, i questioned why she did that, and found out that she thought it could lead to infertility and stuff in the future. I’m in the process of trying to get diagnosed for pcos because I have all the symptoms and the obgyn said that birth control can be a great option for the hair issues and period issues so I’m considering it. My mom keeps advising against it because she said she’s been taking it for decades and she has weight that she can’t lose. But I’m suffering so much both physically and mentally seeing myself in the mirror every day and hating every single symptom like the facial hair, hair loss and my periods are so unpredictable. I just want to try it and see if it works and if I even get side effects and maybe it’s worth it. But I’m suffering so much that it most likely is worth it. My mom can’t dictate what I do and don’t take because I’m over 18, but it’s frustrating that she doesn’t understand me.

I have extreme bloating and dizziness and shortness of breath as side affects
Are there any side effects?
Mood swings and depression. I experienced these TBH
@@deeptajayakumar4964the symptoms of pcos like hair loss and facial hair are what give me depression, so if birth control helps it then so be it. I literally hate myself every time I look in the mirror

Jab period regular hojayegi tab medicine band kar dena tabi conceive kar sakte ho maine v ase ki thi mera ek baby boy hua or 3 years ke baad firse pcod start
