Creative video but I'm dissapointed that other side effects weren't at all addressed. It's vital to be aware of the fact that the hormones used in birth control really can mess with your mind and body, potentially causing side effects like depression, lowered sex drive, acne, and more. That's not to say people should be afraid to take it, because using at least one reliable contraception is essential. They just have to be ready to experiment, and know what pills work and what pills don't work for them by watching out for all sorts of changes in themselves.
Mhm. Totally agree I'm on it and I get head aches sometimes but that's why we have doctors. We gotta make sure to tell people to check in with them if the affects last for to long (or hurt to much) so they can switch them out.
Ive thought about taking the borth control pill. But i heard about estrogen dominance and am concerned that the pill could stop me from losing more weight and ruining my efforts.
So if a condom broke and he sorta ejaculated inside me but not so much (I'm in birth control) does this mean I'm safe from a unwanted pregnancy bc of the pill I take every day?
yes! if you take the pill correctly (everyday at the same time) and didn’t suffer from vomit or diarrhoea in the next couple hours after you took it you’re pretty much safe :)
I have a question I’m taking the combined contraceptive and I take it for 21 days and I have a 7 day free pill so that means I need to start a new pack on day 8 this last time I forgot and didn’t start my new pack until day 9 very late at night I’m I still protected?
No, if you've gone past the recommended days for your type of pill then you are no longer protected and are essentially starting them from the beginning.
Also! I have one last question, what if I was an hour and 30 minutes late from taking the pill at that specific time. Does that change anything?! I'm I still safe
@@naylala792 You’re fine. It just depends on if you didn’t take it at all, as long as you took it in 6 hours (I think) you should be fine ! But I know for a fact an hour & half is fine. I was like three hours late & I was still okay
Hi so I have a very important question. So I am on a progesterone only pill. So i was spotting for 2 weeks before i started what i think was my period today. But when it started today it only lasted for today (for now) Is it normal to only have 1 day periods on birth control??
Mhm. I've gotten my period when I was 11 (lmao) and my flow was heavy plus my periods lasted for a week, after I started taking BC (I was 14) They lasted for about 3 days and my flow was less heavy but if your not sure make sure to see a doctor ❤❤
You can actually take them earlier in the day there’s no problem but if you take them later in between when you took it the day before versus when you took it later in the day, you actually can get pregnant in that period of time but if you take it earlier in the day it’s not a problem
They should be taken roughly 24 hours apart, but you are still safe from pregnancy if you take them a little late (depending on the brand of drugs you have). Most pills have a placebo time period where you don't take any hormones, but you are still protected in that time due to regular consumption of the hormonal pills
It depends on the brand and type of drug you're taking. Some have a window of 24 hours, some are even tighter with only 1-2 hours. Check with the instruction/info booklet that comes with the birth control, and ask your GP
can you just be on birth control and not use a condom! Isn’t that OK? Somebody told me when I was a kid at some point. But the point of the condoms is to stop the sperm. The point of the birth control is to stop the ovulation. But if I’m using condoms on top of birth control, doesn’t that just mean I am just trying not to get an STD? ty answer soon
Hi there, birth control helps prevent the chances of pregnancy but it does not protect people from the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Condoms protect people from the spread of STIs and chances of pregnancy. When birth control and condoms are used together, the chances of pregnancy and STI transmission are low. It's always best to use both!
hey, I have a question about birth control. You say that you have to take it every day and at the same time. What if I'm like 10 minutes late or 30 minutes late? it's not gonna work anymore? or what?
I've a question i took the pill on the first day of my period 3 days ago for the first time and had unprotected swx on the day 3,is the pill effective? am i protected against pregnancy?
Guys im a newbie and I plan asking my doctor when I have the courage. So can I just take a birthcontrol after I have sexual relationships? Or Do I have to have this cycle wayyy before having sexual relationship?
Hi there, it's best to start using birth control before beginning a sexual relationship. However, a person can begin using birth control at any time. It's important to remember to use additional barrier methods like condoms and dental dams.
The birth control pill works by taking one pill once a day at the same time. If you have the 21-day birth control pack, you will take a pill once a day for 21 days.
No depression is better than this worst acne i got scars just i touch them while washing face and nothing! I got scars now they are taking too long to go😢
For how many days should i take pills if i we do sex for only one week or two weeks and stop caude it's distance relationship? Should i take it till two months or just for a month and stop as I'm not having sex the other weeks
I'm in the same situation. Every time my partner and I are visiting each other I go on the pill about a month or 2 before we're together. Once he leaves I stop.
Hi, the birth control pill will still work and you do not need to start a new pack. You can also set a daily reminder to take the birth control at the same time everyday!
Is it really truth that regular birth control pills are only working these days when my wife take it..and drink it... what about another days i mean if we intimate today and she drink this pill and after that we didn't do anything for 3 or 4 days so she have to drink this pill or not?am confused please tell me someone it's for my dear wife's safety 😢
Yes, the pill only works if she takes it every day. If she stops taking it, then she is not protected. When she starts the pill again after not having them, she is not protected for at least 7 days, so it is best and safest to continue to take them daily, even when not having sex.
Hi there, For 2 weeks I did not use a condom, and she took the pill, is that okay? And also at the last day of the pill, I did not use a condom is that also okay?
Hi, using birth control pills and condoms together is the most effective method of preventing pregnancy and STIs. Although the chances of pregnancy may be lowered, there's still a chance of STI transmission.
Yes, birth control will still be effective if taken a few minutes before your normal time. Taking birth control early is better than taking it late or not taking it at all.

Don't listen to whoever is saying yes. Birth control does NOT make a woman infertile. If that was the case, there would be a significant number of infertile women and there just isn't. Many women even get pregnant while taking the pill because no method is 100%.

Does it work if you take a pill before doing it? Or you have to take them before same days at same time for 5 - 6 days, before doing it
