Much, much different today then when I met my freshman roommate Bonnie after climbing the 4 flights of stairs in what then was called Terrace Hall back in '58. We still email to this day. My mom said my dad cried all the way back to Charleston. Then the first day of classes I met my future husband of 52 years in Woodburn Hall. Many fond memories of WVU. It certainly changed my life for the better.
I went to WVU (💙💛Let’s Go! Mountainteers!💙💛) in the fall of 1975. So much is the same. So much is different... President Gee was there, the PRT opened (and broke down many times). I lived in Tower I on the 6th floor. Be a proud Mountaineer wherever you are!
great video - my kids are doing the same thing - going off to college - no we didn't have cell phones, I Pads, even computers in 1970 went I went to WVU - but the spirit was the same - love those Mountaineers!
Hey! I stayed in Towers too. I know my floor was 3400. I think my room was 3413. 1986-1991 Music Major and 1986 Pride of West Virginia Drumline "March or Die!"

I too lived on the 6th floor of Braxton from 1990-1991. Loved it there. Doesn't look like much has changed. Great video. Met my husband there at WVU.

Seems like a great college. My dad, my aunt and my uncle went to wvu. I'm in 9 grade currently and I'm hoping to go to wvu.

It is as diverse as any other large public university.
