She's really good--she harmonises her voice with the gusle very well and her playing and singing are both very clear and crisp. Glad to see women are taking up the gusle, and that audiences are welcoming to them.
Women have been playing gusle - Vuk Stefanović Karadžić gathered poems from various blind female singers like Blind woman from Grgurovac, Blind Jeca, Blind Živana etc.

@spiders in a colostomy bag the gusle is from origin a Slavic instrument that is only played by men and not by women. This is something ready rare that a female plays the gusle. The Albanians maybe took our instrument but is not supposed to be played by women.
This girl is holding an Albanian instrument with an Albanian flow . It’s so obvious . Goats head represents Kastrioti. Traditional only at the Albanian zones . Course serbs don’t know this .
It’s not a Serbian instrument . UNESCO is rethinking the decision . They’re trying to copy paste . But the goat head exposed them. Kastrioti Albanian Christian Kings helmet has it too .
The gusle (Albanian: lahuta, Croatian: gusle, Macedonian: гусла, Serbian: гусле, is a primitive single-stringed musical instrument (and musical style) traditionally used in the Dinarides region of the Balkans(Southeastern Europe). Serbian Gusle-being played at the court of the 13th-century Serbian King Stefan Nemanjić!! ,Albanian-Lahuta -the first records in the 17-18 century????? Interesting,ah???
We had first record in 18th century because it was played from random people and we didn’t have a lot of indipendence for our culture in those times because of Ottomans. But in North Albania we saved many songs, not all sadly but our is really connected to the Montenegrins. Im a Malesor and with Montenegrins are connected a lot. We used to consider same people even if of different ethnicity. Also we call it as Lahuta but also as Lavda that in Albanian means Glory, because it was used during battles and to tell battles history and to sing to heroes.

Its serbian national instrument - gusle. She singing about serbian courage, before Battle of Kosovo against Turks... Mother talks with her son and says: ''Its better loose your head, my son, than sin your soul.'' (lost your soul)
serboi are an iranian tribe. they are proto slavs that mixed with baltic people and other slavs. did anyone ever think that maybe they kept the gusle in their tradition and culture. a lot of serbian food culture and music is iranian aryan. why does everyone assume its turkish or arabic.??? maybe the instrument is from old persian times which is no reason for arabs to laugh at it or disrespect it. as far as the instrument being albanian now thats something to laugh at.
Respect from Albania. We have the same instrument but we call it Lahuta or as Lavda that comes from the word Lavdi that means Glory in the Albanian language. We used it during battles, for telling heroes history or heroic and sad events of the population. Also we used it for war dances where its was accompanied with the drums. Also we sing the song slower than yours. I am asking to the Serbs, by the things that I wrote do you use your Gusle in the same way that we Albanians use it or you have some more particularities than ours?
we use it the same as you exept we dont use drums .we use it to tell epic poetry of importent events in serbian history like the battle of kosovo or serbian uprising the name gusle comes from the oldslavic word (gosl) that means fiber , we normally also sing slower , also it not common that a woman sings this instrument. you can also sing the instrument with a group of people greeting to albania from serbian hercegovina

Serbian people had gusle since the begining of their history. Since the Hindukush and the Steppes and into the Balkans. All the people of the steppes have this instrument. It is not meant to be pleasant to the ear, but only to be used for singing epic poetry that was the only way in whoch we memorised our history. The Ottomans understood the great importance of this instrument to all Balkan nations. Even Mehmed Pasha played this instrument as he was indeed a Serb taken at birth.
