And yes, Lord of The Rings has received the animated treatment. But what if one of the greatest animation studios got their hands on the iconic franchise? Let’s take a look at what Lord Of The Rings would look like as a Disney movie. While it’s very unlikely to ever happen, a Disney version of Lord Of The Rings is a very fun prospect to think about. While Tolkien was alive, he was not opposed to a film version of LotR. He was, however ABSOLUTELY AGAINST it being done by DISNEY, saying: "For all whose films I have a heartfelt loathing"
Same with the author of Mary Poppins
Im glad that Disney never got the rights for TLOR. Hopefully, they never do.
J.R.R. Tolkien was right about Disney.
When I think Disney, I don't think CG animation.
Where there's a whip, there's a way.
What an interesting video. Frodo and Sam look cute, Gollum looks way too cute, Gandalf and Legolas look too friendly/dumbed down, Aragorn looks like Jesus, Galadriel looks beautiful, and no Rohan character was depicted but thank you for including orcs.
-The Battle of "Minus Trith." If you want to win over Tolkien fans, you'll have to pronounce the names properly. I know they are difficult, but there are tons of resources online. Correct spelling: Minas Tirith. Correct pronunciation: MEE-nas TIR-ith.
Many Tolkien and/or Peter Jackson LOTR fans are extremely leery of any adaptation given the disastrous Rings of Power show.
Tolkien disliked Disney and would not have given them the rights to adapt any of his work. As a matter fact, he didn't want anybody to adapt his work.
Despite my little criticisms, I do appreciate the effort you put into this video! I have never seen your channel before and I'm going to watch some more of your videos now! 🧝♂️🙏
Amazing video 👌
🥰💝😁💕💞💗
I think that the movie would be ruined if it was a Disney movie.
