Proud of you,,,, i always run from hair been doing it all my life but not license... so 2017 i went to cosmo school ,, took a leave of absent. Return back Aug 2018 then due to life events stop. So finally i go back to finished May 7th 2019 and have 5mths to finished. keep me in prayer

Right! Hate pedicure and nails. My sister in law is doctor, when I was studing she asked me ¿why are studing bones so in depth?
And yes we had soooooo much drama.

I start Paul Mitchell September 16th & I’m so nervous, is there any tips you would give me for the first day & the follow months after ?

Would you say going to the school was worth it? I know there are other cosmetology schools in Hawaii, but I mostly know about PMTS because my aunty went there.
Yes it was worth it because you get to learn the foundation of everything! More theory book work, one on one training, hands on training, class lecture, salon training, etc. Do you plan on going?
Yea I actually plan on going next year, once I finish this semester of college.
I wondered how long did the whole training go? Do they spilt the months up in hair and make up schooling?
13 months total!
Hey!! I’m thinking if applying there i have the same mentality like you i want to grow and challenge myself! I have 2 questions. In the kit you got when you started, how much did you actually continue to use at PM compared to things you bought yourself in replacement of kit items. Lastly did phase 2 cost any extra money to do, if so how much?
I feel the PM kit is only for schooling and to get you started. I started to buy other things during the ending of my school year, balayage combs, clips, balayage board, a new blowdryer, etc!
Phase 2 wasn't an extra charge when I went to school, but it was a process to get in :)
Do you need a GED or High School Diploma, to go to Paul Mitchell school?

Hope Creech Hi Hope! For Hawaii’s location, were required to wear all black. No butts, belly, back, armpits showing, so I usually wore a dressy top with black dressy pants and flats or boots. We weren’t allowed to have our toes out.

Yes! And alot of group work :)
Was it a lot of homework
Hi Amanda! We had some homework but if we had extra time before school ended, we were able to finish during class. Also any work that you don't finish becomes homework. We also work on projects and etc.
What is the wash house?
Basically the shampoo room where u wash hair.

Miranda cosmetologist! I’m currently renting a chair in Hawaii.
I am starting barbering in oct, you wouldnt recomment it?
Def! I wanted to go into barbering but didn't because my school didn't offer it YET.
