You can see at 0:44 how Zeff is preparing to have his heart broken by a rude farewell from the young guy he saw grow up by his side for 9 years, but after hearing "I owe you my life" he seems liberated by any bad thought. Impeccable acting by both of them

That was my favorite part. You can feel the anticipation and dread in Zett's face as he prepares for Sanjis last words, then Sanji liberates all his self-doubt saying "I owe you my life." Absolutely beautiful acting.

No, I think Zeff knew how Sanji really felt; they're both tough guys used to expressing their true emotions through a mask...
the emotion showed was him KNOWING what Sanji felt below the surface but that he could only express it through the barrier of superficial insults... but Sanji got rid of all pretenses and spoke real.

I love this meaning but I honestly think it has the same meaning as what Seff said in the anime when sanji left. During this mini arc we only heard Seff call out to Sanji as Little br@t. That is until Sanji was leaving and Seff parting words was "Sanji, don't catch a cold". Not mockingly, but in a fatherly and caring way. Hearing Seff say his name for once had so much meaning to Sanji it was enough to make him stunned.

When Sanji cries I cry so much that I want to hug him so bad. Like I said before in the other comments in some of the other videos that I’m excited for what’s to come for the 2nd season of One Piece especially what kind of meals that Sanji will make because watching him cook the food & seeing how good it looks it just makes my mouth water. Just recently my mom got me a new shirt which of course is my favorite/character crush Sanji and when the 2nd season of the live action of One Piece comes out that is the shirt that I will be wearing so thanks mom.

Best scene in the entire LA series so far. Maybe it's just me, but i think the inclusion of somewhat norse coded music alludes to the fact, that zeff looks like a viking somehow (but maybe im just stretching I know).
Having said that, only the execution of Sanji's backstory made me emotional. Zoro and Usopp on the other hand, had the worst treatment. Like not only were their stories very rushed, but a lot of it also happened off-screen.
Why would I give a flying fuck about Zoro's childhood friend, when, between the time of her introduction and her dying (off-screen) was only a couple of minutes. Goes to show that different producers for different episodes can lead to varying success from episode to episode.
Overall, I'm content with the direction so far however and I hope they greenlight a second season, so they can push the material a little further.

Pretty sure the zorro friend scenes s pretty much a feminist agenda. Not really surprise majority of hollywood shows and movies these days have always woke ideology forced into the viewers.
Still this show is surprisingly good. Thought they will messed things up like any live action they made. Hopefully the next avatar adaptation will be a good. The cast are about right no force indian-centric like the last one.
