btw I recommend people do a patch test before doing perms. I had a perm and eventually experienced heavy hair loss. it took like 8 months - 12 months to fully recover from it.
my hair is recovered 90% now and its not noticeably thin anymore. but just so you know.
I got a perm about a month ago and my scalp is itchy and when I scratch hair falls out and when I shampoo more hair is easily out. Was this similar signs for u?

I couldn't stand my super straight and stiff hair so I got a perm, not only was it super curly but it looked like the hair that I was meant to have, anyways I didn't need do anything to it in the morning which was a god send. Want to get it again.

@@paradise_valleyi didnt realise i had 2B hair til i stoped shampooing my hair, stoped using blow dryer, just water it and use towel, but dont go crazy with it cuz it will gonna damage your hair and my wawes apeared kinda straight and unhealthy, go easy and make like taps with a towel for 15 minutes, atleast thats what i do and it works

Hey, do you think you could do a video talking about the Afro perming that a lot of people are doing where? Essentially they are taking really soft straight hair and turning it to like 4c textured hair I would love to see more in depth video talking about it maybe talking about how it is achieved because I can’t find any videos where they actually like. It doesn't NECESSARILY turn your hair from straight to curly, it depends on your hair makeup from the beginning. Exp, black "straight" hair doesn't become curly with a perm, it's a different product for that scenario.

A perm will definitely increase hair shedding temporarily. And if you are growing out your hair from a shorter style since forever hair shedding will be a lot more noticable because the hair will get stuck to you hand more easily. Hair losd should really be considered if its like a lot a lot of hair fallig

I got a perm the other day and it was curly when they were wet after the girl rinsed the neutralizer from my hair and removed the curlers. She then blow dried it, and all the curls fell out. Today is the next day after my perm, I'm still waiting 48-72 hours before I shower my hair, but my hair is still straight. Is this a part of the process or did my perm just not work? 😭 family and friends keep saying "give it time it'll be curly after 72 hours and u shower" but that feels like bull
