That’s a handsome print! How do you flatten fiber paper at that size? I always use the 42” RC roll because I’m scared of the process of working with fiber at that scale… cost, drying, flattening, etc. Really great content here, hope you’re still at it!
Thanks for the feedback! For large prints, I pressed between two full-size sheets of smooth mat board, preheated to remove the humidity. Then, I use a 20x24" hot press to carefully, gently, press section by section. You don't really need to close it completely either. You can gently lower the press to relax the print. I hope this advice helps. Another tip: I don't have access to large drying racks anymore, so I dry prints face up on the back side of trays or old RC paper. It takes longer to dry, and the paper curls more, but it works.
