I was a wilderness ranger in the forest service back in 1988. The Washington Cascades are my home range.

Jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I’m a Washingtonian and I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never heard of The SM Wilderness. Just WOW!

Awesome, so beautiful, and communicates the feeling of being away from people and in the majesty of the world that's so much bigger than you are!

This video was awesome. I’ve only just started hiking documenting and visiting our national parks, but this video is paced so well. The audio is perfect. You feel like you’re there. When you’re out there, that’s all you hear is nature. It’s so loud yet so silent. And I completely agree with what he said about the water. Very therapeutic. Just got into Seattle area to hit the parks. Can’t wait!

Cascade Pass is my favorite hike around, it's absolutely gorgeous and just the view from the parking lot is breathtaking. The cinematography is excellent in this video, great job to all involved.

Wow, beautiful videography! Great job! N. Cascades is one of the most beautiful wilderness and mountain ranges in US. I like the way you shoot, frame and build a story. May I ask what camera (make and model) do you use?

That was some great video. I am from Louisiana. I have 10 people in Washington state and have already planned a backpacking trip for next September in Washington. Had already planned to do the Eagle Creek Trail in Oregon but the fire ruined that

Masyih Ford, are you related to Eric Ford? Eric was the architect in charge of an historical preservation project I worked on in Cane River Creole National Historical Park in 1999. I don't remember his first name, but Eric's father was an official in the NPS also.

Very nicely done! Lately I have been viewing videos of the North Cascades National Park since I'm planning to visit & hike this area this summer. Most videos I have seen (well, watched a bit of) are poor technical quality: taken bouncing up a trail; unstable; way too fast zooms and pans, etc. Your video is so much better.

No grizzlies in NCNP, only black bears. Bear spray probably not necessary for only black bears.
