Tom Mundle my hero !
Do you think you'll ever do a break down of one of your older tracks?
I am very grateful to you for this video and for your music! Greetings from Ukraine=)
Any plans to release Atmos?
Please never stop with track breakdowns, they are great.
I may not understand the more technical details, but it's just so intriguing to watch someone passionate about every detail of their work.
Don't think there's anyone out there at the level you're on doing more for producers. Fantastic work as always
Thank you Metrik ❤🙏
These are so good
You are so good

This song sealed the deal on Drum and Bass being my fav type of EDM. It also made me get a DAW, and some peripherals and start learning. its an unbelievably good song man. Well done, appreciate this breakdown so much!
please do some more of these, I'm learning so much.
Honestly, I really think your vocals are one of the most outstanding you can find right now. I would listen to your tracks acapella as well!
This guy gives so much gold away and great advice with the tools he is using. Thank you so much Metrik!!!
Ummm....Am I the only one that lost count of the vocal effects...I think I made it to about 40 when i stopped keeping track! Some golden tips throughout this 1 hour video. Thank you and congratulations on winning DNB Arena Best Producer. Nominees were some heavy hitters!
I remember the first time I heard this, We Are Electric 2019 , first time seeing Metrik, final song of the night, what a time to be alive , what a bloody track
FREEFALL
That sound, sooo much nostalgia T_T
I'll never forget when I first heard that track

best track from your album, love the spacey intro synth arp.
Wow, thx for explaining your production in such detail! Really appreciate your high end production. I'm impressed on how much sophistication and knowledge is in there
Amazing Album btw.. You fully brought me into dnb after 10 years of producing Psytrance
DUUUDE, what a surprise for me!
I know it's a bit late, but I was soo much into your music in 2017 when i started visiting music school, and I just found some parts of masterclass with crappy video quality. But know you did them here, I`m so happy!
Loving this. Thanks!
Awesome video, thanks for this, I'm getting a lot of inspiration. Now I listen to the song with a different perspective.
Best video ever to be honest. I always felt very uplifted listening to Gravity, but now that I heard the emotion and passion you broke down every part with and now I feel it as well, almost like I got somewhat attached to the track now lol
Honestly it’s people like you that have to become teachers, listening to someone being so excited about their subject really inspires and motivates to be as excited about thing of your own.. I’d love a mentor like you :(
Thank you for this video.
Wow Metrik. I heard Freefall before you said it. Your repurposing and use of something so iconic is riveting. I love the idea of adding a connection between tracks, a technique I have not heard of or experienced in DNB. Thank you for this explainer and more so for the track. Respekt Brother.
Sick walkthrough bro! Need those Livestreams back ♥️♥️
omg yes!!! i cant count the number of times I was making stuff and was like: hey i wish I knew how Metrik did this or that, just to get a feeling or a vibe going and couldn't, so i ended up losing my inspiration. this will help a ton, thanks!!
What a great work👍
THIS IS AMAZING!
Can this please be a weekly thing? helps my production so much. Very inspiring.
We love Metrik!
thank you very much for these breakdown vids! I wish more producers were making them 😎
Great song!
Thank you soo much for sharing all your knowledge! Really enjoyed watching it, it kinda mesmerized me hahahah!
Thanks Metrik, great insight!
This is going to be great
a think this video has changed up my perception as a producer, thank you
Recognized that from freefall...instantly. Dope video.
Now that you pointed out the pad from Freefall, I can't not hear it! Great work, and thank you for making these track breakdowns.
really awesome, thank you!
not big on production but this was my favorite track on the album, really cool to see
Resample those vocal resonances, they sound like whirly wind tubes, could be useful in future project. Thanks for taking time to show us your magic under the hood of this song.
Would love to see a breakdown of 'Time To Let Go' or 'Thunderblade'!
I've been using this song as a reference track and it's been awesome. But now seeing how you put it together is making me appreciate the work so much more. Thank you for making this video
My maan i think its time for another Track breakdown :D I rate thos videos so much :)

Thank you
Sincere congratulations, you are a genius. I love Automata!
Thank you!!
Amazing

Dear Metrik, when the release of the track Cadence (VIP)? (=
Awesome skill. Now I am thinking about making music again :)
Really appreciate you taking the time to create these track breakdowns. They clearly take a lot longer than the end product and are really interesting. Thanks.
When you bring these back man!
I headcanon this as the theme song for Wipeout anti-gravity racing.
Best videos!
Thank´s carnal!
For the three lead vocals, are they three copies of the same take or are they three different takes? Thanks so much. Love these breakdowns.
27:22, thats insanity haha
55:15 The best advice you will ever get.
Man i remember the first time I used Clariphonic. Truly a magic plugin.
Actually, I would like that old sketch as well... Well done 👍
Metrik (Tom), you are phenomenal, you are my idol and i look up to you, as the DNB god you are. please upload more informational videos on your process of creation(in Ableton please) ; I aspire to acquire a handful of the many skills you hold and can only wish to become even a fraction of what you are, keep up the killer work, Tom,
much love to you
Is freefall where it all began? Because that track is huge! It still gives me those positive vibes after all those years
okay, Freefall isn't where it all began.. I actually remember 'the arrival' and 'time to change'. dayum
How do you go about placing elements such as drums, bass and vocals in a mix in regards to stereo imaging? And what processes do you have on your mix project master channel? Love your work and big fan of your streams . Safe
Hi Metrix, Can you tell me the name of that audio visual display decive you have which lets you see the audio signals? I want to get one, looks really useful. Bet it costs alot of money though :) Btw love you music, trying to make dnb/dubstep myself but im strugling to make the tracks loud and audible so you can hear my tracks when mixing 2 tracks. I try turning the voulme levels up to just before it distorts but still my tracks arnt very loud. Ty
For the longest time, I was wondering how you got that synth sound in the drop. Had no idea it was just a midi guitar!
Hey, perfect video!
what about that analyzer down there in your desk? it's available for sale or is it a diy project?
Great video! What are the smaller monitors below the main one?
Can you do that sidechain midi experimentation in Logic Pro? Some explain how and why it’s important
Thank you for the track breakdown. Lots of learnings for a beginner like me. Can anyone recommend a software plugin as an alternative to the prophet 6 ?
How bout a breakdown of Dawnbreaker?
Whats the purple light setup in your studio?
There’s always and element of Jean Michelle Jarre to your work whether you realise it or not - and I’m not talking about your use of old synth or software emulations
So did you just recorded all the vocals on your own and then used Melodyne for it? Do/did you also have some vocal coaching?
34:18❤️🔥
You should do thunderblade next
Can anyone suggest what kind of screens with a spectrum and waveform analyzer are located under the monitor shelf? What kind of equipment?
Also interested
May be just an oscilloscope, not sure tho
Could you tell me the name of the program and (just in case) it's free alternatives?
