@Smity Will Nah, Jordan Jockers are the ones that are brainwashed. Stockton didn't need Malone to be successful otherwise he would've mever made it to the league.
Right. They really tried to change G.P. and Artest's mind on who those two players guarded. That's why some of these athletes don't care to talk to the media because they always trying to twist statements up. Especially when the media personalities never played at the pro level.
@J D Everybody’s different man he probably actually knew how to guard Jordan and not Stockton he probably studied Jordan’s cause everybody else would fold to Jordan but he wasn’t gon fold but Stockton was probably to unorthodox
That San Antonio guy was a personality on a radio morning show, name was Nard. He was doing that for show content to talk about and link to their social media pages.
There's another clip where Gary Payton goes into detail on why Stockton was harder to guard than Jordan. He said scorers are easy to guard because they take plays off. Srockton wouldn't. He had to guard him 94 feet. And when a guy shoots 10 times and makes 8, then shoots 10 free throws and makes 9, then gets 15 assists, 5 rebs and 5 steals, then is constantly moving without the ball setting picks and running around the whole court never taking a play off. That makes him harder to guard than a scorer.
@@brandenwehner2312 then why don't you do it kid? It's not just googling...theirs alot more that goes into making these videos than just googling some stuff...kid.
GP’s explanation on Stockton makes sense when you hear his explanation why. When your athletic it’s easier to digest a whoopin a more athletic person puts on you than when someone technically makes you say “what just happened?” Those guards you never forget
Love all the clips/contents in this Channel. Good break throughs, extra developementS. Just please keep It up..need something like this for the NFL 💪🏼😊
You can't hate on Artest for saying Roy was harder to guard than LeBron or Kobe. Some people can match up better on defense than other players with less notoriety. A lot of people never heard of Mitch Richmond or Kendall Gill. But I've seen Jordan on TV in the 90's saying he couldn't guard them. Different strokes for different folks.
@@ibn1989 Yeah I sure that's it. Older and wiser now and he knows that he isn't getting paid for his athletic ability anymore and he could lose everything but I damn sure remember when I was younger sportcenters first headline one morning was Barkley had threw a guy through a window, the night before in a bar, for heckling him.
Chuc:hey James these people filing be tryna get me in trouble can you get rid of them Random guy: I’m not tryna get you in trouble Chuc: yea you are cuz you gon get yo ass whooped 😂😂😂😂 This is why Charles needs to be protected at all times mans hallarious
What Ron Arrest and Gary Payton said was perfectly logical. People have certain styles of play in which they don't personally match up well against. I've shutdown several players who were considered better than other smaller/smart witted players who I couldn't seem to dominate defensively.
What Garry Payton actually said and meant to say, is that he had more trouble dealing with Stockton than with Jordan, not physically, but mentally, because GP put a lot of his defense game into mind games, Jordan would bark back at what GP would say, and he (MJ) might be the bigger dog evrry night, but John totally ignored GP's tactics, so he couldn't affect his mindset, therefore, he wasn't able to guard him as effectively.
Hope we enjoyed it???? Well I did.... I knew of all these, but you refreshed my memory on about half of them, lol. So it was refreshing and interesting.
@@GuttaStarrEnt same as the videos thatve gone around on FB of someone saying something. But your brain can’t distinguish the difference and cannnot clarify what the word is, exactly. Perceptions and contexts are crucial lmfao
Gary Payton gets interviewed in the same room with people who haven’t actually guarded Jordan and Stockton. Let him speak facts. He’s been through that competition and he knows how it feels.
Yoo the way raja bell spoke on Kobe as well as vice versa you will NEVER see an nba player do that today. James harden came close w, giannis but still chose his words carefully those beefs from the 2000s was REAL

By "big" women does the guy mean fat women?
I forgot about Robert Horry 10 years ago...I just played with T- Mac last night on 2k.....case closed 😂
Stockton was by far a hard guard cuz he did everything from rebound to setting screens to d to passing to scoring to ball handling

He was lillard before lillard with more height and length
He was a killer shooter too and he had range but they wasn't shooting alot of logo 3s then
