I won't deny that 1,000 PS2 games is perhaps a little excessive, haha. They just used to be so cheap, sometimes only costing 50 cents each when stores were unloading all their used PS2 stock to make room for PS3, so the collection kind of just gradually creeped its way up! I'm sure that your collection is still awesome! Thank you for watching. :)
Awesome PS2 collection bro. I'm sitting at 944 games in my PS2 collection. I've been following your channel for many years and I've always enjoyed your massive Game collection. You have a lot of passion and love for gaming and it always shows in your videos. I always enjoy seeing other people who share my passion for gaming. I remember watching all 4 of your room tour video parts. Keep up the great work on your channel.
That's awesome! It won't be long before you hit 1,000 games. Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate that you've been supporting me over the years! I hope to make a new room tour soon, so I hope that you enjoy that! Take care. :)
Awesome collection. At one time I had probably 100 games but over the years they've disappeared. Some were stolen. I've recently bought a Fat PS2 and started my collection again. Great video. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
Dude I love how you used this space 😂 do you still store this library this way? Such an impressive amount of titles, although a little unapproachable by non-gamers that you want to pick what appeals to them. Dumb little nitpicking honestly this is just such a staggering collection, very bad ass!! I’ve only got around 240 games across all my systems, to think of a thousand for just one of them 😂 Do you use a RetroTink or framemeister for scaling? Or just enjoy it in an older TV? Do you have a favorite 3rd party PS2 controller? Or are you a default stock controller kinda guy
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I still store my PS2 games this way, although as I've continued to collect more it's unfortunately meant that I need to find other spaces around the game room to house the ones that don't fit in this space. I hope to create a better place someday where they can all be stored together again! I play pretty much all of my retro games on a CRT television, so no upscaling there. Original controller as well. I guess I'm pretty basic when it comes to those sort of things. :)
Everyone's collection starts somewhere. Keep on working at it, and yours will be huge someday too! 60 games is already an awesome start, especially if they're all games you love! Thank you for watching! Take care. :)
Great presentation! I enjoyed viewing your wonderful PS2 collection. I also liked the Super Mario RPG poster, the New SMB display and the Nintendo character plushes. I am also a BIG fan of Pokémon Gen 1. That Platinum display brought back memories of when shadowless Base Set were affordable. I’m glad I completed my set back around that time (all mint!). You've probably seen my Pokemon card video from back in March, and while I don't have the Base Set completely shadowless, I am very happy with what I collected back when Pokemon cards were the new hot craze. I still play the Pokemon TCG 2 GBC game, as the card game itself was a lot of fun before power creep got out of hand! Anyway! Thanks again, and take care! :)
@@TheGameDisplay I remember the best deal I got was this: I got $200 for my birthday in 2014. A reputable online card site had a shadowless Base Set Charizard for $100. I couldn’t believe it. I called them and talked for a while. They promised it was mint and would probably be a PSA 9. So I bought it. I never got it graded but have it stored away. It truly looks flawless. No scratches or anything. Best deal ever. If I got it graded and I’m certain it would be at least a 9, that would be unheard of today. I got the last few shadowless holos I was missing from another site back in 2017. I remember I got a mint shadowless Nidoking for $8 and shadowless Chansey $13. No scratches. Wow! So cool. I love the PS2. I have 874 games total. I have been collecting for it since early 2000's. As I was collecting, my parents suggested that I should keep track of my games in an excel spreadsheet, so I did. I have been buying the ones I really want, getting them garage sales, ebay, gaming expos, special occasions and gamestop. I have a lot of interesting stories on how I got some groups of them. About 320 of mine I have in the yellow sleeves that I got from gamestop when they were doing buy 2 get 2 free. One of the most interesting stories of a game I got was Sly 3, Persona 3 and Twisted Metal Head on. It was probably around 2012 when sears was still selling PS2 games and were just getting rid of them. Persona 3 I picked up in the store. I noticed games like High school musical 3 and PBR Out of the Chute were $20. Then next to it I saw Persona 3 for $3. I was was like uh I think I heard that this is a good RPG. So I picked that up. Then at another sears I was looking for PS2 games with my dad and I was looking for Twisted Metal Head on, but didn't find it in the bin. Then as I was walking away, my dad noticed and said "hey what's that game on the floor." Sure enough it was the only Twisted Metal Head on. Then I went online to the Sears website for PS2 games and wasn't seeing anything I wanted until I saw Sly 3, but it said $0. So I put in in the cart and paid just for shipping. When I got it in the mail it had a sticker on it for $0.00.
PS2 is a great system. It's the best selling console of all time, with 155 million units sold. It also seems to have the largest library with 4400 games. I'd like to collect the top 1000.
It requires taking the whole wall down, adding the new games in, and then putting it back up again. It's good exercise running up and down the stairs hundreds of times. :P Thank you very much for watching and commenting! :)
You're missing Mercenaries original (playground of destruction), and Persona 3. I'd recommend adding those two games to your amazing collection. I have a small collection of about 100 or so PS2 games.
I wish I had the time to play through every single one. I'm also a completionist, so that would really up the required time. I'll get through as many as I can though! Thank you very much for watching and commenting! :)
Hi Robert! Thank you so much for watching. I collect for all sorts of consoles, and not only games! I love console variants and all sorts of other oddities as well. If you sift through some of my more recent videos you'll see I've been uploading a lot about my collection lately. I also plan to do a full on room tour early next year! Please consider checking my channel out! Thanks again, and take care. :)
I''ve been collecting for the PS2 since the mid 00s and have probably spent a couple thousand dollars on everything combined. The vast majority of my collection came from sales that stores like Gamestop had, where they would unload their stock of PS2 games in order to make room for newer consoles (sometimes selling games for as low as 50 cents each). Other games I paid full price for because I wanted to play or collect them. Thanks for watching!
i honestly prefer my boring uniform PAL spines, there's one that really pisses me off though, it's Super Bust-a-Move (the one with the baby cover) that has an American style spine and really sticks out.
The laaaaarge majority of these are from thrift stores, garage sales, and discount bins. I didn't but too many brand new PS2 games growing up. I was more of a GameCube guy! Thank you for watching!
Would you be willing to take $10,000,000 for Disney Sing It? I really gotta have one. I'd be worried about the games on the very bottom. The PS2 cases are sturdy but that's still alot of weight on them.
I'll make you a deal and sell you all 3 for the low, low price of only $25,000,000! Don't think about it too long though, this deal only lasts 60 minutes, at which point the price per unit will increase to $15,000,000 each! As you can see when I take a game out from the wall, there actually isn't any downward pressure on the games. Because they are so compact, they each kind of hold each other in place, and nothing gets damaged! Thank you for your concern though, and thank you for watching. :)
I can respect this collection, but I would recommend you purge a bit. I imagine there are plenty of games you are not interested in playing, and those greatest hits look bad on the shelf in my opinion. I did this a few years ago and I am very happy that I did, now my collection is focused with about 150 titles. I use cardboard to separate my game layers, works well.
Quality over quantity is never a bad thing. Personally, I've just had fun accumulating games over the years. I could definitely clean up the library a bit if I wanted to, but most of the so-so games would only sell for pennies anyway, so I figure I might as well keep them all! Greatest Hits games are kind of an eye sore, but I don't mind them as much as some. Thank you for watching! :)
@@TheGameDisplay no problem man, i really love your collection. :). be sure to check out my 2021 game collection video that I well make at the end of the month.

Great job!! Great video!
Thank you very much for watching! :)
Back in the day, I had about 100 games or so. I actually got rid of my collection about 7-8 years ago! I plan on redoing my collection! First I need a PS2.
Thank you for watching, and good luck! It's thankfully not too difficult to get a good PS2 collection going. :)
@@TheGameDisplay Hopefully it won’t be to bad! I’d like for every game to have a case, manual, and the cover. Then, I’d like to start on the MX vs ATV series, Need For Speed series, and the final fantasy series! We will see where I’m at! I actually managed to find a old PS2 on Facebook marketplace!
16:14 is that a psvita up there? I remember back when I was in 4th grade in like 2015 one of my classmates had one and I was super curious about it. May I suggest you make a video on it? Maybe consider?
Despite having a normal, portable Vita, I did pretty much all of my Vita game playing using the PS Vita TV which allows you to play them on the big screen! It's an interesting console, but I don't think I've spent enough time with it to do an in depth review of it. Thank you for watching! :)
@@TheGameDisplay ah, that's alright. Cool!
@@nebrska I'm a little late her obviously lol. But that my friend is the box for the PSP, which meant PlayStation Portable. Pretty much the Vita's older brother
Amazing Collection
nice collection
Thank you. :)
What a legend
PAL labels look much nicer, less hectic imo. Cool collection
PAL labels are a lot like Nintendo Switch games where ever label is just a red background with red text. It certainly gives a collection an interesting aesthetic! I personally prefer more detailed, colorful labels, but I can see the appeal of the other side of things as well. Thank you for watching! :)
Hi

Really appreciate that! I hope you enjoy my other content as well. :)
Como hiciste esa decoración para poner tus juegos , hiciste un hueco en pared o como 😯
Max payne 1,2 do you have them. Are they complete with manuals
I do have both of them complete! Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
@@TheGameDisplay willing to sell
Amazing 😍
Thank you! :D
Bro, I am from india, I was always a fan of ps2......love ur videos. All the best
Thank you very much! I appreciate your support from India. :)
I'm gonna assume that you never heard of Scaler until a year after this video since I don't see it on one of the shelves.
This is awesome.
Thank you! :)
The Great Wall Of Sony. Very nice!
Thank you so much for watching! If you have the time, please consider checking out some of my other videos as well. :)
you should put all your greatest hits in one section
Wow!
Nice finds!
It's cool that your dad helps you hunt for games
PS2 is a great system. It's the best selling console of all time, with 155 million units sold. It also seems to have the largest library with 4400 games. I'd like to collect the top 1000.
I'm amazed there is over 4000 games for one system
1000? Wow that is a lot of games
I love my ps2 I play it all the time
I can only imagine the pain of trying to place a new game into that collection.
It requires taking the whole wall down, adding the new games in, and then putting it back up again. It's good exercise running up and down the stairs hundreds of times. :P
Thank you very much for watching and commenting! :)
You need barnyard that was my fave
Can you do a video showing all your GameCube games
Perhaps at some point! Thank you for watching. :)
You're missing Mercenaries original (playground of destruction), and Persona 3. I'd recommend adding those two games to your amazing collection. I have a small collection of about 100 or so PS2 games.
Do you have Resident Evil: Outbreak File 2? 🤔
Hi do you know a game where the main character says "shut it copper"
“I have all of the essentials” well.. I’m not seeing any Fatal Frame games in this collection 😅
Haha, well, I suppose there's always room for improvement. XD
Thank you for watching and commenting! :)
Have you heard about the new 007 game that was teased recently?
I actually hadn't! I'll have to look into it. Thank you for watching!
Superbe collection
Vous avez chance comparé aux versions européennes les jaquettes sont plus colorées et travaillées
Awesome!! 👏 👏
Thank you so much for watching! :)
Do you even play, complete and replay all of them c:
I wish I had the time to play through every single one. I'm also a completionist, so that would really up the required time. I'll get through as many as I can though!
Thank you very much for watching and commenting! :)
@@TheGameDisplay Cool cool, just asking !
Hello! about how much did you invest in this incredible collection and are you currently collecting other games?
mans brushed over the silent hill games like it was nothing lmao
Question
How long did it take
And hiw much did you spend
I''ve been collecting for the PS2 since the mid 00s and have probably spent a couple thousand dollars on everything combined. The vast majority of my collection came from sales that stores like Gamestop had, where they would unload their stock of PS2 games in order to make room for newer consoles (sometimes selling games for as low as 50 cents each). Other games I paid full price for because I wanted to play or collect them. Thanks for watching!
You should show all of your ps2 game save files
i honestly prefer my boring uniform PAL spines, there's one that really pisses me off though, it's Super Bust-a-Move (the one with the baby cover) that has an American style spine and really sticks out.
That's fine! There is something nice about how uniform they are. That's weird about Super Bust-a-Move though! Thank you for watching. :)
Do u have madden NFL 2001,2002, 2003, & 2004 ?
Yes! I show the sports games a little later on in the video. :)
@@TheGameDisplay oh cuz those ps2 games that I told you about are my favorites
I just bought the rest of the old Madden's on ps2. Gonna get the psx titles next.
How many now?
How many of those games were bought and not donated?
The laaaaarge majority of these are from thrift stores, garage sales, and discount bins. I didn't but too many brand new PS2 games growing up. I was more of a GameCube guy!
Thank you for watching!
Wow I just started adding to my collection. I have around 2 hundred games so far.
@@thomasallen4340 That's awesome! It's definitely a bit tougher to collect for PS2 now than it was a little while back. But good luck! :)
Wait a minute.. Where is the Burnout license? :O
dang that's a crap load of games bro you got more than me
Anyone else just want to gently run their finger against that wall?
Im only at 108 ps2 games as of now. And also i have 18 greatest hits games.
108 PS2 games is still awesome! Thank you for watching and commenting. :)
@@TheGameDisplay no problem man, i really love your collection. :). be sure to check out my 2021 game collection video that I well make at the end of the month.
Seriously, I used to only be able to play pirated CD games. The price is quite affordable for me HAHAHAHA 😄😁
Dynasty Warriors 3 is the best game along with Virtua Fighter 4 and The Bouncer.
75% shovelware
And i thought i had a insane amount with over 460 ps2 games.
I'm Now at 259 ps2 games. :)
Very nice! :D
Is RISK a good game?
ماشاللە😌... جوانە l like
One gta game per console is right. Ps3 gta 5 ps4 gta 5 ps4 gta 5....
5:58 hah more like one per 3 consoles, theyve milked GTA 5 Online from ps3, ps4 and onto ps5.....so far TakeTwo ruined that franchise for me.
It's a shame to hear that. I know some of GTA6 leaked a while back. Hopefully the series feel fresh again once it's released. Thank you for watching! :)
Are you aware that someone on UA-cam has the complete collection of all PlayStation 2 released in the United States?
That's awesome! It was surely no easy feat to accomplish that. I'll check it out! Thank you for watching and commenting. :)
where is 007 from russia with love? or 007 goldeneye rouge agent (
On the GameCube and Xbox! There was a lot of crossover between the consoles that generation. Keep an eye on my currently underway room tour if you want to see my collections for those consoles. Thank you for watching! :)
This guy is a game a holic when you reach that level you have serious problems all Gamers out there do not become a game a holic
theres 1 out of place
Thank you for watching! Would love to hear which one you noticed. I'm sure that a few get misplaced every now and then. :)
No silent hill 3, no manhunt 2, disappointing...
No points for Having Silent Hill 2 & 4? Haha, I hear you though! Thank you for watching. :)
The original is expensive.
I need a game do u sell
So you are still making video's? I've seen a number of UA-camrs who say they are burned out and want to take a break, and then they are uploading video's the next day. LOL. Indecision.
That's what you do when you don't have a wife.
😳🤯
Socom 3 / Combined Assault was the ish online
🦾😤⚡ Now I have to go back & play all of the games I missed because of it 🤣
The Godfather: Don's Edition is soo good on PS3
