*BOTW:* Ghost In The Machine (My favorite song from "SOS" with fascinating lyrics and SZA and Phoebe Bridgers have wonderful chemistry)
*HM:* Love Language (SZA is really good at doing sensual R&B jams)
*HM2:* Open Arms (Another great collab with Travis Scott after "Love Galore")
*HM3:* Nobody Gets Me (Has a really nice instrumental reminiscent of Mazzy Star)
*HM4:* Kill Bill (This should've been SZA's first #1 hit)
*HM5:* F2F (Who would've thought SZA could nail her hand in rock)
*HM6:* SOS (SZA's sophomore album was just fantastic and most of it's songs will soon be included on my playlists)
*WOTW:* Drowning Pt. 2 (Wow that's a mediocre followup to a mediocre song alright)
SZA making a rock song was not something I would've in my wildest dreams ever expected, but I am very glad it happened!
lmao the best song on SOS was definitely not Ghost in the Machine; Blind, Kill Bill, Smoking on my Ex Pack and more songs definitely pass it

Honestly I thought that Drowning sequel would've charted higher
SOS is one of my favorite albums of the 2020s and SZA deserves all the love and joy from people. Kill bill and Nobody gets me are both iconic and good staples for 2023
I will never understand why so many want to drop in December when there's a bunch of holiday songs charting but they never want to drop in the days after Christmas or in January

WOTW: "Water (Drowning Pt. 2)" (In comparison to the part 1, it might not have the infamously atrocious line from Kodak Black, but it also doesn't have the hypnotic catchiness either, so as a result it's just completely forgettable and no way you would ever expect these two to make a better song than literally anything in SZA's discography).

@@RadicallyOptimistic Lil Nas X kept making remixes to keep his song at number one. And I see so many memes saying that they're done with All I Want For Christmas Is You. There's also how I think everyone finds that song being on every Year-End lately to be incredibly lame.
This'll likely be the last time AIWFCIY will be on the charts. This is its' 56th week on the charts, which means it'll likely fall under the 52/25 week rule, which will make it far harder for it to rechart.
(Also, RATCT by Brenda Lee will have charted 52 weeks by the time all the holiday songs disappear, so it'll likely fall into permanent recurrency along with Mariah)

It's crazy how just four years ago Ariana Grande was able to effortlessly block the Xmas tunes and now we have a very hard time keeping Xmas from the top. Firstly, I was vaguely aware of A Boogie wit da Hoodie being gone. I'm surprised that he made a sequel to "Drowning" after so long! 😅
Secondly, I wasn't expecting A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Kodak Black's song to be the only non-SZA song to enter the Billboard Hot 100. This episode was almost completely about SZA! 🤓
If it weren't for A Boogie, we would've had an Ed Sheeran ÷ situation, where all the debuts came from one artist!

You think Underneath the Tree, Santa Tell Me, and the Bubble Buddy covers will continue being Christmas staples, or you think they will disappear in a few years?
Underneath the Tree seems like a Christmas staple already (even if I dislike it a ton) and Santa Tell Me might disappear once Ariana's music career starts slowing down (which might already be the case) and Michael Buble is Michael Buble, he's gonna be an itch we'll have to deal with each Xmas season.
@@brokengirrafe Out of all the 2010's Christmas songs that come back every year. The Michael Buble covers are the ones I get the least. Not because they seem terrible because they don't seem that bad from the snippets I've heard from them because I haven't listened to them in full since I don't listen to overused Christmas music anymore because that's one of the parts of growing up. But with the other two, I get because they have recognizable artists attached to them. But Michael Buble only had one real hit, and his Christmas songs aren't even new songs. And yet his Christmas album becomes huge every year. He even made a music video for one of those songs that came out last year.
I should mention that autocorrect kept turning his name to "Michael Bible" and I was tempted to call him that. Have I mentioned I never listened to Underneath the Tree either?

Happy SZA got an album bomb especially as there's some talk SOS maybe her last album (hope that's not true). Could see a quiet few weeks into the new year now and honestly...I have hope for 2023 from some of the holdover like "Anti-Hero" and others. If country continues on the path it is on, 2023 could damn great on the charts.

WOTW: Water. On the one hand, this is kind of here by default, but on the other hand, it’s still pretty bad. The original Drowning wasn’t amazing, but it was a solid, atmospheric vibe with solid vocals and decent lyrics. But this is trash. The production is boring, Boogie sounds terrible, the lyrics are bland, and Kodak sucks as usual. Seriously, Billboard?! You couldn’t make room for Here With Me, but you could make room for this slop? Screw you.
I think "Here With Me" is gonna be one of those songs that will chart after the holidays are over, that is if it doesn't fade out by the time
