Question: Does anyone have a tip or idea to try and complete this mission while on chapter 11 ? I'm trying to do what everyone tells everyone not to do and finish most missions while on chap 11, crystarium stage 9, no 3-tier weapons and no maxed out crystarium (no, not even stage 9 maxed). So far, only 62,64,54 to go :\ the first two I assume impossible, the last one seems impossible but not sure.
cheers for makin this without the random stagger i would of never thought it was possible took me 7 tries before i got a random stagger and about 3 seconds to kill the little (or so say big) bastard
@sonicswordrain however many missions you do you have to kill a small cactus guy first...theese are running around here and there after you have been to a plateu getting there with a chocobo.

I still haven't maxed my chars but so far I've completed all past missions and all the ones on the circle of stones except for the Ratvija one when you have to fight 2 of them toghether, I hate those guys, when I see your vid tomorrow I'll see what I'm doing wrong :P BTW my Random chain entered at the second try also, I was Blocked but Fang landed it and Odin finished the work.
I completed missions 1-53 as well as 55-58 and the stone is still dormant.... I'm lost on what need to happen to correct this. your help would be appreciated.
I have this ability, Instant Chain (I equipped some Energy Sash and Speed Sash), but I gotta use some other weapon to stagger this guy, or only what I'm already using and luck?
hey could you tell me where do i get speed sahs and energy sash i hope its not from missions cause i once fu*ked up nearly all mision rewards for gill but then i was stupid. so can you tell me and if its from missions then tell me how to get them other way
to get the stone undormant u have to goto this area without the mission activated then u will ecnounter the little cactus then go back to mission crystal then its done come back here and kill it
@myang245 best place for cp that isnt a pain in the ass? do the first RED cieth stone mission the one were you find the chocobos you get 10,000 everytime you do it and money? just kill the semi-small big...things out on the expance they usualy drop some gold dust or nuggets that sell for a shitload
I was trying this like 20 times and he never staggered then i recognized that maybe its fangs weapon problem i switched dragonhorn to something else and it works 0:32 sec for me thanks for tips.
@Peddlerproductions Sazh is awesome, he always makes me laugh except when he gets serious... And, concerning the cactuar: That is EXACTLY what I have been saying for ages now! I always thought that the Cactuar looked like a swastika (Nazi symbol to you). 'Least I know I'm not going crazy. :P
Damn for some reason even with maxed out characters, 2 energy and speed sashes on lightning and fang, fortisol and arisols on this still wouldn't work for like over an hour but it finally did and he died instantly. Infuriating. lol.

i dont get this shit, i start off really good in the sense that i get the bitch's hp down to half with barely any damage... but then the fucker decides to assault my leader everytime!!!! ahhhh frustrating

Im not using any tier 3 weapons. But if u did then yes it would help a little.
