Hello. Check out my video where I show how to setup this VFD for mach3. Mach3 is using a relay output which starts the vfd remotely. P0-02=1 is the parameter which allows you to control it by a terminal input.

@@GBWM_CNC after some researches, it appears that this AE VFD is sold for 500Hz max frequency but only support 320. So back to seller and I've order another one on Vevor. Thanks again !!

Hello, I have a lathe with a 3kw / 380v motor, I can put a 4kw Toshiba converter on it. I mention that at home I have 220v and I connect it to a converter with 220 input and 3 phase output
I don't know your converter but probably there won't be 380V on the vfd output. A 4kw vfd can be used on a 3kw motor though but the max output current / power has to be set properly

Now I'm waiting too. He installed another converter for me on another bench lathe that works ok
Just purchased this mini vfd to use with my 2.2kw cnc spindle . Been making notes from your video (which is great by the way ) regards to parameter settings but would I be correct in saying that if I want to control it via my cnc motion controller, P0-02 should be set to 1 ?? I want to use 0 - 10v for speed ref ????

Swietny filmik instruktazowy :D mam kilka pytan do ciebie co do tego falownika: 1 - czy uzywasz go i czy sie nadal sprawdza? 2 - czy rozwazales dolozenia brake resistor? 3 - przejrzalem pobierznie dokumentacje i nie widzialem wyjsc na dodatkowy moduł dla przycisku "emergency stop". Czy w urzadzeniu sa dodatkowe wyjscia na podlaczenie takiego przycisku? Dzieki za info!
Dziekuję! odpowiadając: 1 - używam w tokarce w moim warsztacie domowym i działa cały czas jak należy; 2 - nie rozważałem bo w moim przypadku akurat nie ma potrzeby; 3 - W mojej instrukcji, którą kiedyś gdzieś znalazłem widzę zapis, że do wejść DI1-5 można przypisać e-stop, który według instrukcji jest funkcją nr 47 czyli np. podłączając zgodnie z schematem sygnał z grzybka pod np. DI4 to trzeba by ustawić parametr p4-03 jako 47 i powinno działać pod wejściem DI4.

@@freddiepasitengpawi1792 Mine is a 3HP 3 phase and works fine with this VFD :) You just have to configure it right to your motor and you should be fine.
@@domenicofarina7125 You can try to read about vector and scalar control method in VFDs. I didn't try but there is a setting in this vfd to change the method. Vector control should provide more torque. But that's some theory I know from classes - got no experience. You can try to make some research - maybe changing the method might provide the little extra torque you need.
Oh man, is this a video of what you could do wrong when doing electrical installation ??? 1. NEVER drill the cables when crimping !!! 2. NEVER EVER use earth line (green/yellow) for anything other than earth potential !!!!! 3. Ground the motor properly !!! 4. Connect the calble at the motor connaction panel BELOW the U-brakets. Always use the left side of the screw, because then the rotation will pull the cable in, not out.

Hello, thanks for this video ! Any idea why my vfd frequency doesn't go upper than 320hz, while it's supposed to go up to 500hz..?
Maybe there is a upper limit parameter set to that value? Or you're using an analog voltage input less than max?

No. This is a ac motor. You need a vfd for it. Tb6560 is a stepper motor driver

If I remember correctly it is possible to connect a e-stop to the vfd. But stopping immediatelly depends on the inertia you have to decelerate.

@@davidwhite9676 I don't know that controller, but MACH3 uses 0-10V output too so the parameters on the VFD should be the same I guess. Good luck!

are stiil need a capacitor or not?
3 phase AC Motor don't require a start-up capacitor. 1 phase ac motors usually require them.

why 400V and not 230?
230V volt is the voltage between ground and one phase. And between two phases you have 400v here in germany

at low rpm the torque is low...I can increase the torque delivered by the electric motor...thanks
This is physics. Sadly it's hard to obtain high torque on low RPM. If you want low RPM and high torque then you need a pulley
