i would avoid this company period. i bought one several years ago and it was bad at $600 and now they want almost $900 for this. over priced and still a bit slow at 110Khz per axis. The one i bought might have been a generation 2 but i think it was 110Khz total. the gen 2 had no backlash comp. no cutter comp no memory space the spindle feedback was only 100 PPR. this entire product was hyped up back then and still looks hyped up now. i am personally glad to see someone calling these people out on B.S.

Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it. Your points should be very interesting to those looking into this controller.
Everyone needs to do their due diligence to be sure whatever controller they invest in is best for the budget, and applications.
This means validating you get timely support as well, and this means with vendors providing all required in depth wiring diagrams following best practices.
      Thank you,
      Vince

1 more thing to look at is if they worked out rigid tapping. the 2nd generation did not have this option. Honestly Linuxcnc is far cheaper with a Mesa board and i would bet it runs circles around this controller and even with picking up a computer to work with it costs around 1/3 of what they want for this thing. @@corvetteguy50

@@TechTomVideo the one i bought was a second generation but i would take a hard look at the finer details beyond the sales pitch. another point i would look into would be if the axes can run simultaneously or not? i do believe this was an issue in the past. a lot of things are not covered or talk about and are later found after the sale. i honestly think there are better options out there at a fraction of the price of this unit. Masso has a clean interface and that was one of the few things i liked about it but if had a lot of major issues that should have been resolved before they started selling them back then. so if they had no problem selling a incomplete product back then i would use some caution when dealing with a company like that. this is just my 2 Cent but people should be aware and know what to look for before spending that kind of money on a hobby level controller.
