If I take into account that I spent about R120,000 on general maintainence on my E36 323i road car last 10 years, doing 75% of the work myself, I think you did pretty well with this build. BMW's are not cheap cars and racing components are far more expensive than standard parts. You can be proud of this car, looks beautiful, sounds great and seems to go very well.
In all fairness that's not actually that bad at all. We have something in the UK called the 750 motor club which makes getting on the track a lot more affordable. Fantastic racing too.
Nice to see the breakdown. I thought I was starting to get in over my head with spending more than my E36's value on it as a back road/trackday car, so this is quite humbling 😅 you should bring it down and join for Killarney Time Attack next year!

To install R8? Do u need some sought of a module or its a straight fit just change the harness plug?
I am using a stand alone ECU so don’t need any modules to run them.
They also use much less power than the original coils.
