woah i was rewatching this and realized some cool details!!
-the people directly involved in mari’s death (basil, mari) don’t appear with the rest of the group
-sunny, not omori is used for ‘tell me what you think’ with the headspace, and appears scared before it drowns him
-only basil looking out at the window could represent he was the one that hung mari.(who was hung outside)
-also in this scene, basil is also looking when something appears and the eye opens, even though both of them watched mari’s eye open after she died. this represents that basil is the one who chose to stay and not block out the world. in addition, basil not looking at sunny in this scene and looking at something instead could represent he thought that sunny didn’t kill her, and it was something instead
