This man clearly does not shop at Home Depot's legendary aisle of curved stud lumber
I think a lot of the work he does is material selection. The pieces that he uses even for structure are all super beautiful, minimal knots, straight grain, etc. Plus he does a LOT of prep on pieces that will be exposed
