Hello tools give you options when things need to or have happen. Yes #3 tool measure twice move once :) I’ll level with ya both can be important ;) . I use a multi meter and has helped figure out stuff too like conductivity or battery still good.
I use a multimeter too. I don't think a person uncomfortable with tools would be able to understand and operate a multimeter. That is why I chose the outlet tester most people know how to plug stuff in. So this takes that and makes it easy to understand.
I can see # 5 tool being an either one I think that ya need both myself but if ya make me pick one I'd go with the outlet tester I can eyeball a picture hang but I cannot eyeball electrical plug ins

I've shocked myself way too many times to not have an outlet tester. I test everything all the time. I learned my lesson when it comes to electricity.
Hahhaa i have the same 6 in 1 screw driver hehehe... That and Needle nose is all i carried as a Maintenance guy.
Most things people need help with can be fixed with a multi-bit screwdriver. I use mine all the time.
