Florence Henderson's daughter Barbara is Benedict's wife in this scene, the black girl who did the narration was in the season 3's episode Power Of The Press with Peter being a school newspaper reporter calling himself Scoop Brady and she tells Peter in repayment for his kind words about her she is throwing a party and he's the first on her guest list, the actor playing Major Andre was on season 2's episode What Goes Up? as one of Peter's friends when Bobby twists his ankle

When Benedict Arnold was on his deathbed regretting being a traitor, his wife supposedly said, "So you made a mistake. A few years from now, who's going to remember?"
Remember Bobby's exaggerated British accent when he was practicing the role with Peter? Or the one Peter tried out before saying "pork chops and applesauce" like Bogart?
When I learned about the Revolutionary War in school Benedict Arnold was hardly mentioned. Yet the Brady Bunch would lead you to believe the entire war revolved around him. I never understood why this show was so obsessed with that guy.
3:45 "How did you ever get Peter to get over his laryngitis so quickly?" It's an old family remedy. Cindy wrote a letter to Santa Claus asking him to give Peter his voice back.
tishtashtishtash I think that as they got older , the scripts gave better ‘smart aleck’ moments . They weren’t playing cute . For example , Leave it to Beaver and Family Affair were on an opposite trajectory . The early seasons were the best. Cute worked alongside funny . Then the kids just seemed stuck as they aged .
Mike helped build the girl's play house back in season one and I'm almost certain he built the dunking tank - it seems his skills went beyond that of mere architecture!
So? My dad was a stamping press operator at Ford, yet he built a dining room add on to our house. And a deck. People can do more than one thing in life.

Wasn't the African American girl also in the Davy Jones episode as one of Marcia's friends or another fan club member?
@@msr1116 The black actress that was in the Davy Jones episode is actress Tina Andrews. Tina appeared in a lot of TV shows during the 1970's.
Dan Castro, I am impressed with your Brady Bunch trivia.

No, Mrs. Benedict Arnold was played by Barbara Bernstein.
TnseWlms Ok I just wondered cause it looked like Marcia for a second

Marcia was attending Westdale by season 4. Peter and Jan were attending Filmore Junior High
I was impressed with Peter's performance as well as the kid who played Major Andre. The kid's British accent was perfect!
Exaggerated, like Newkirk, imo.
@@TnseWlms Richard Dawson who played Newkirk actually was British so he didn't have to exaggerate the accent.

Good episode. "They'll be no discussion!"
I just was watching Jeopardy and one of the answers was... Major Andre. It made me remember this. WTF!

I remember watching that episode and Peter wanted to play George Washington. He was disappointed that he didn't get the part.
I love the Brady Bunch alot
Peter was my favorite Brady. Still very good looking today.
❤I love it ❤️

The Brady Bunch gets a bad critical rap, but by this time in the series, the cast was firing on all comedic cylinders.

I wish MeTv would air the reruns after dinner rather than at 7am. Nothing on broadcast tv I care to watch in primetime or late evening.
why would parents attend a rehearsal?
Because they cared!
So the show didn’t have to pay all those extras to sit in the audience
Because it's nighttime, and the kids need a ride home from practice
Why not?

Mike’s an architect not a carpenter.

An architect is a master builder.

After the success of Bob the Builder, upper class parents petitioned for a white-collar equivalent, "Alex the Architect."

What kind of school play about the American Revolution ends with an act about Benedict Arnold reminiscing on his death bed?
