    Your video series has been my saving grace these past two semesters w/ discrete structures. Thank you for all your work!

    Thanks for uploading the whole course. It's really helpful that you used a popular textbook. A suggestion: a tutorial for additional problems from the textbook.

    18:31 it seems like were double counting by adding the 1*1*25*10*10 three times since we already did 25*25*25*10*10. Why isnt that the case?

    I have the 7th edition and you mentioned 8th edition of book are they the same or should get the 8th edition? Your videos are very helpful, thank you very much for making it available for free and pick UA-cam to share your courses.

      I believe they are close enough that you don’t need to purchase the newer edition.

      @@SawFinMath thank you for the response, just notice that your pre-calculus lessons, there is still few videos. Is it okay if i jump to Calculus after finishing the college algebra? I have zero knowledge with Calculus, College Algebra is the highest math i had learn. wondering if it is bad to proceed to calculus.

      It’s not ideal. My series isn’t done, but I’d spend some time studying Trig/PreCalc before Calculus. You can always check out the larsoncalculus website. They have some great support videos for their texts. My students who haven’t studied trigonometry or did so 10 years ago always struggle with calculus.

      @@SawFinMath Okay and again Thank you very much for the help. I should learn first pre-calculus before Calculus.

    Hey prof. Been following you for a while now to learn math. Did you take down the combinatorics course where you used grimaldi text?

    Hi, I see you're using the 8th edition of Rosen's text for Discrete 2, but the 7th edition for Discrete 1. Would the 7th edition also work to follow along with your Discrete 2 videos & do practice problems?

    • @SawFinMath
      @SawFinMath  Рік тому

      Yes. The two are almost identical.

    Will this course require watching Discrete Maths I first? Or the two are not that related?

    • @kol8214

      4 months late but yeah, required. Especially since some of the exercises require us to prove statements using proof methods which are discussed in Discrete Math I

    I think your answered of even "A"s Is wrong. Muy answer is: 25.25.25.10.5 because there are five even numbers.

      @@johnnyhandsome3424, just a few years ago very few high schools were teaching beyond pre-calc. Now I see a large segment teaching multiple classes in calculus and a few jumping into logic/discrete and diff. Having someone like Professor Brehm teach the concepts makes the content very approachable for a number of our current students, especially in magnet/academy/accelerated situations.
