Mine was knocked from a seat onto a wooden floor, about a 40cm drop. Screen now is blurry and full of artifacts to the point of being unusable. I took it apart and reconnected the screen but it didn't help. So that was a lesson - these things are just not built like a typical phone which can handle all manner of drops and bumps. It's such a good device though that I plan to buy another and will fit a silicone cover and treat it with extra care. Edit: my top tip is to install Knulli, this CFW is fantastic if you take the time to familiarise yourself with the options.
Thanks for the heads-up, Green Tea. Will look into a silicone cover for sure, and have been weighing up Knulli. For our purposes, Stock firmware will probably do for now, but we'll see! Why do you love Knulli so much? Stick fix? Cleaner UI and a bit more performance?
Soon buying a new 5v/1A charging brick will soon cost more than these handhelds 😂 40xxV does look good with the slim bezel. Too bad it only has 1 stick which means some PS1 / Dos games and Moonlight streaming is not perfect.
Did you get an emulation console for Christmas? We'd love to know!

@hyperplayrpg yes, the stick fix, easy scraping, lots of UI options, etc. but I'm a batocera user so it just seems natural to me.
I saw yours has Nintendo. Just got mine and it does not have any Nintendo systems
@@drew9583 just add your own ROMs
