@@AVCH yesterday there was traffic because of construction and the highway turned to one lane and there were 2 bmw x5’s and they both almost hit cars trying to get in the one lane. Typical bmw driver

Two lane highways mean you have to look both ways before pulling onto the highway. If you only look one way then pull out, your insurance company is going to be really upset with you. They will likely ask for more of your money or they will drop you like a red hot piece of steel.
Small cars does not guarantee it will fit in small-er places. They need the same room on the road as other cars. Shoulders the width of bike lanes are to narrow for a small car to pass a semi.
If you start around a sharp curve, especially a wet one, it's wiser to slow down then increase your speed. Even gentle curves is no time to think you're at a NASCAR of F1 race. Your car isn't built for such manuvers, and neither are your driving skills.
The semi driver who stopped just in time, should get their eyes check for bad depth perception. When the distance between your vehicle and the one is decreasing, it's time to slow down or safely change lanes. Not give yourself a heart attack or messy drawers by stopping just in time with inches to spare.

It's like there is a driver and pedestrian on the road . The pedestrian looks towards the driver and thinks " it's not the tram that will go around ", and the driver thinks "the pole won't move away " 😁
