Mike Dawes is my favourite guitarist when it comes to acoustic guitar. You mentioned nearly every reason why: He uses his amazing skills to make beautiful music and not the other way round: Using music to show what he can do. I would add: the beautiful guitar, and that sometimes I can "hear" his humor shining through.
