I have only posted on UA-cam one another time. I loathe posting anything on anything on the internet ever, but this human deserves recognition. Can we get her on Joe Rogan Podcast? Her existence needs to be known for not only for women, but everyone. She is a real grounded human. She is pleasant and diplomatic. She is an amazing subject for martial arts. Let us create a movement for her to be known.
This is absolute gold dust. In the west, everyone likes the dramatics of the knockout or the demonstration of doing things fast. However, this slow motion, accuracy, timing and eloquence is the real genius in the work. Beautiful to watch. I like how he keeps going down layers to show the depth of technique and timing, fluidity in the response when people say "what if, what if, what if" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❤❤❤❤❤ Love this
I'm glad you are getting so much out of it. I'm also happy to shine some light on a less famous trainer who is full of knowledge that people like you can recognize. I love his muay.
I just wanted to let you know.. Your videos are incredible. The way you document these legends. Just amazing , no one is doing what you are doing. Hope you can continue with these videos for a very long time. Thank you!
Kongsamut style is similar to my old Thai Boxing instructor when I was growing up in Southeast Asia in the late 70s. The low kicks, punches with uppercut and side hooks, and close in with low knees and cutting elbows. Sneaky and spiky. He is one of my favorites.
The part where he is talking about slowing down after rocking someone & the way he takes a breath when he does & then pulls the guard and focuses on accurate punching is something I'm gonna take with me the rest of my fighting career. My last fight was very one sided and I was winning decisively, I hurt the guy and had him on spaghetti legs but I didn't remain patient after and ended up getting caught. I believe if I would have listened to this advice earlier it would have been a different outcome. I really appreciate all the videos you do with these different Muay Thai Legends. Thank you.
In boxing, you use the long uppercut to pop the chin up and send a 2 down the middle, and a 3 for good measure. Love your vids! Thanks. Looked up kangsumat and no results on youtube :(
Holy shit this channel - I was looking for some silver and found a treasure full of gold. Subscribed. Everything is broken down so meticulously but it's still fun to watch and looks even more so to do!
How have I only just come across your channel great content I train muay thai over in the UK but I'm planning on going to Thailand to spend a few months training soon
This is super wholesome, you'd think they were related, Sidenote: why dont taller thai fighters take on the muay mat style, why khao? Im interested in the striking aspect wondering if any technique for the big guys are out there
@treyork1684 punches don't score especially high in traditional scoring, so you can't really "out point" just with boxing. There have been a few tall Muay Mat (Rak Tae is the tallest I can think of).
Hi sylvie, your work is awesome. Do you Think to take coaching with actual champion like Youssef Boughanem ? That can bring freshness, and I think he more than deserve to be in the library
I'm not against, but my work is in preserving the legacy that is otherwise being lost or forgotten, or documenting fighters not celebrated in the west. But I DO appreciate the suggestion. Maybe one day. Thanks for the positive words and support! :)
@@8limbsUs thanks for the answer, do you have some short of video where 90s legend talk about one actual boxer ( i know there is content about actual boxer in general), that can be Interresting, seeing sagat analyse one of his disciple, maybe one boxer take the style of one legend and try to upgrade this style or try one alternative ( i dont write very well in English so i dont know if u understand what i am trying to say)
Just saying maybe lower the volume of the real video when yur commenting i hear pad work and someone talking versus your breakdowns. Love the vid tho 🙏🏾
Where is his school if one day I go to Thailand I would like to learn the muay matt style with him I'm from Brazil and I'm going to work hard to one day fight this sport professionally if you can tell me where it is I'll be very grateful.

100% it would have to be a long podcast to tell all the stories. Joe loves muay thai i'm sure it'll happen.

Could listen to his experience all day . This was so good Sylvia!
I love your stuff and can't wait to go back to Thailand. Everything you post whether free or paid for is gold
His light uppercuts looks like they can drop someone easily. Great video!
