Samson Isaan was the very 1st, Muay Thai fighter I knew by name (25 years plus ago) as I had a ancient VHS tape I watched to death, which documented his life and some of his fights.
Really appreciate you getting some footage with him.
Would be cool if this could lead to him getting more recognition and a chance to teach more.

I've invited him to my gym in December for 3 days (12-14), so he can get a chance to give privates, and also mentor students, just to get him involved more. As you can see, he has immense joy.

Wise words Sylvie - "If you are a forward (dern) fighter, you are going to get hit...." Similarly, my sensei used to say "If you are in a knife fight, you are going to get cut...". Brings back memories. Thank you Samson Isaan.

I think everyone should get that idea hammered into their brains, regardless of their fighting style. It removes a huge psychological weight off your shoulders.

Can't believe the amazing knowledge and people that you can find from a random recommendation on youtube.
I'm unfortunately too old and knackered to ever be the thai fighter I always hoped I might be way back when I was trying to master Sagat's moves in the arcade, but I think I'll be becoming a patreon just to preserve the amazing knowledge that you're documenting. You're a true warrior and historian. Chok Dee :)

That's the thing. I am a pressure fighter and I like to take hits and keep moving forward. This is why I enjoy it. Showing my opponent that there is absolutely nothing he can do but yield.

Sylvie i am 29 and just started muay thai. I have shitty stamina. Any way to build my stamina in short period of time?
I tried your sodium/potassium stuff. I add in a pinch of salt to my morning drink before workout. Its suprisingly great effect! Feels like i recover from fatigue quicker.

Hey i train MMA with a focus on high volume striking and forward pressure, you want to build stamina? 1. Always breathe especially when sparring and practice deep breathing in your rest time. 2. Stretch regularly and vigorously. 3. Lots of running, keep a jogging pace but sprint for short bursts KEEP BREATHING DEEP even when your tired from a sprint control your breathing. Stamina for fighting takes time to build no shortcuts no hacks just work. Good luck my friend
