Jesus Christ, this band just gets heavier and heavier. They were the heaviest band before but now leagues beneath has dropped and their playing that live, they're unstoppable
They don't play chords. They move air. It's something tangible. Living, breathing, moving air. Pike is a monster. A true monster, whose only aim is to blow out your eardrums. Fucking sick.
Agree with Spectral below, thank you for this. Cisneros-Pike-Hakius, they will go down in history for taking the Sabbath vocabulary and expanding it even further.

I think you may have had to come of age in the 70s to appreciate this. This is Black Sabbath played with three chords slow, slower and slowest at twice the volume. Nothing like this existed way back in the day. Brilliant, but not for everyone.

Their newest album proved that they're still the undisputed stoner/doom kings.

It's not hakius .
Hakius retired in 2010. Now they play with Jason Roeder.

Nice! I love how they play some of their songs live slower than the album versions. Can not wait to see them again, in October here in Amsterdam :-)
Finally was lucky to get my hands on the vinyls! Magic happens. Proceed.
When this music works, it really works. Even without weed!
Sleep paralysis but still semi awake.

@Chris Davies -- right, because other similar bands like Sunn O))) bore me to tears. These guys I can't get enough of!

This is incredible! Saw them the night before. Absolutely perfect set opener.
The first few seconds are from Ennio Morricone’s OST for The Thing-“Humanity.”
