I think a better way is to tax remittance at about 30% to 40% regardless of the amount sent. That would deter a lot of the long term incentives.
And also a flat fee based on the amt for all money sent. A cap on how many times you can send money in a year too.

I voted for Obama twice and didn't vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020. I'll be voting for Trump for the first time in 2024.
After Biden opened up the border to millions of illegal immigrants coming into this country per year, I knew voting for Dems was a mistake, and I've waited four years for this moment to correct my mistake.
Under Biden/Harris, our cities have become an embarrassment. My wife stopped taking the train to our local city, and my daughter was attacked in the NYC train system in March. The fentanyl crisis killing 100s per day is driven by Mexican cartels, and our local news reporter traced a large number of the local drug dealers to a city in Honduras. These people are crossing the open board frequently to sell drugs on our streets.
We are not a country if we don't have citizens and neighbors who respect our laws. I now see clearly how the Democrats are destroying this country. My wife, daughter, and I look forward to voting for Trump for the first time in 2024.
